What are you guys thinking for hip hop predictions? Obviously the Run the Jewels and Kendrick discussions have occurred, but who else?
Shabazz Palaces? Action Bronson?
Action Bronson seems especially likely because of Julysquatch and a new release, etc. Shabazz wouldn't surprise me either. Even though he played last year, I could see Sam LaChow coming back and getting a late afternoon Bigfoot spot. He seems to be rising, especially in Seattle. Atmosphere are playing Governors Ball and Bonnaroo and were booked for July last year. Childish Gambino could be there. His 2012 set was really popular.
I think the reason I've been skeptical to assume Death Cab, Modest Mouse, or My Morning Jacket will be there is that in the last three festivals, only two out of eleven (or fourteen if you want to include the scheduled headlining sets for Soundgarden, Kraftwerk, and New Order) headliners had headlined Sasquatch before: 2012 Beck (who had last headlined in 2006 and was a unique booking for Sasquatch that year as he was not promoting a new release and had few other appearances that spring) and 2013 The Postal Service (who had last headlined in 2004 and whose following had greatly increased during their time away). Sure, the National, Queens of the Stone Age, and Macklemore & Ryan Lewis had appeared before (2008 and 2010, 2006, and 2011 [and kind of 2012] respectively), but Snacks seems to be moving away from predictable repeated headliners. Maybe one of Death Cab, Modest Mouse, or My Morning Jacket will headline, but I'm not expecting any of them. Does my logic make any sense?
EDIT: If we're considering past headliners, we must consider Boston Calling overlap Ben Harper and the Innocent Criminals... (ellipses mean sarcasm)

Toro y Moi is going on tour this Spring (we knew that) but furthered his list. I'm optimistic and slightly hopefully that we could get a two-for (Toro y Moi set + Les Sins set) like we did with DFA1979 + MSTRKRFT.
Toro y Moi just announced a national tour that ends in Austin in May 20 and doesn't include any PNW dates. He's playing both Coachella and Hangout, so he could easily be one of the crossovers. I'm going to add him to the rumored list unless there are any objections.
For some reason, I still don't think it's going to happen, but let the Death Cab for Cutie speculation pick up even more:

Not that there are exact rules about this or anything but it'd be really lame to announce that October date if they are playing Sasquatch. Usually you wait until after the festival (or at least after it sells out) to announce a later show. I'd lean more towards it ruling them out than suggesting they're playing.
Good point. It's not like they need 8 months to sell out the Paramount. The reason I thought those dates could indicate a Sasquatch appearance is that they didn't announce a Portland show this morning, maybe because it's right before or right after Sasquatch. I still wouldn't guess them in a lineup pool, but they're worth rampantly speculating.
