US festival lineups make me really fucking sad because theres no way I can fork out 600 useless canadian bucks just for tickets/camping.

Last year we were spoiled with no conflicts. Sundays schedule got changed so I could go from St Vincent to Modest Mouse to Outkast to Frank Ocean. I don't think something that amazing will happen this year but it's going to be a hell of a time. Those fires need to fuck off, because people are wanting this festival to shut down.

Guessing Big Sean and Jeremih will be added seeing as he listed as touring with J Cole the days before and after the dates he is at Pemberton. By the looks of it, he will be playing Thursday night so not a big deal to come in late.

Just realized the Blue Jays play the Mariners the same weekend as the Capitol Hill Block Party. Perfect.

I love looking back and seeing artists Beats Antique on the 3rd to bottom row. I saw them for the first time at Sasquatch. I think I could use the word "mesmerized" to describe my experience haha.
What's the deal with tickets? We are basically looking at 400 bucks per ticket each? And it looks like you pay more if you choose the payment plan.

The Full Flex Express tour announced its dates and they have Pemberton listed on July 19th. Looks like Jack U might be the big electronic name this year. Edit: I'm pretty sure it's Jack U and not just Skrillex because the Ottawa date is for Bluesfest and it's Jack U playing that show. I think Grimes and Pretty Lights were on this tour before too? Hopefully they bring back some names, and possibly Purity Ring? Pemberton needs to drop their lineup soon holy tits. I want to buy my ticket.

The Pemberton twitter page is really active today. Normally they don't post until at least noon, but started a few hours ago this morning. COULD TODAY BE THE DAY??
They retweeted this a bit ago..

If you want to attend this festival you are just going to have to come to terms with everything being a total clusterfuck. Just accept it and everything will be all right. Except I -think- they improved camping, or at least the walk to the campground?? That was the only complaint I had for the entire fest last year.

Kendrick Lamar - To Pimp a Butterflyedit: god fucking damn that was fucking amazing I wish it wasn't a Sunday so I could just sit up all night with a few bowls and these tunes. The only thing I can feel right now is respect for the guy who obviously poured himself into this album.

Predictions? It could drop tomorrow too.
Im fairly confident in RTJ, Passion Pit, The Decemberists, Alvvays.
Going to guess: Jack U (Skrillex and Diplo), Muse, Kendrick Lamar (even tho he played last year was 45 mins late?? Who knows) The Weeknd
