Squamish line-up tomorrow. Should be interesting. Pemberton put this on their facebook today. Any thoughts? Should be clues for the lineup? Unless they are just fucking around.

It also might be interesting to see what Pemberton comes out with. They haven't had any updates recently and still don't have a date to announce their lineup.

This was issued in The Province newspaper which is obviously, the provincial newspaper in British Columbia. It is very credible, so I thought this was interesting. blogs.theprovince.com/2014/01/24/is-eminem-going-to-headline-squamish-valley-music-festival/Think it's pretty cool. Thats a HUGE name to land. I am most curious about what other acts will be booked. Arcade Fire and Eminem (and apparently Bruno Mars...) as headliners leave speculation open for what kind of undercard will be booked. If you're attending, who else are you hoping gets booked? The lineup is released on Wednesday.

No doubt Bruno Mars is talented, but Squamish has been sticking to a certain type of style for many years. They got the go-ahead to increase the attendance up to 35,000, so to me, it looks like an easy way to guarantee ticket sales. If Bruno Mars does headline, there will be a lot of single-day tickets sold for whatever day he plays. Im ok with that.
Right now I am a person who has not bought tickets to any festival, including Sasquatch (YET). I live in BC so it is interesting to see how this will all play out. Squamish and Pemberton in BC, and 2 weekends of Sasquatch at the Gorge. Sasquatch will probably have the best of the lineups, especially a better undercard, but not having to travel across the border and pay less is a deal breaker for me and a lot of other people I know. It all depends on the lineups.

Definitely looks like it will be Bruno Mars and Arcade Fire...
Really? Bruno Mars? I really hope there is a good undercard this year. I'm still contemplating what fest(s) to hit up this year... With prices so high, I have to wait for the lineup to buy tix. I should have went to Squamish last year, but couldn't get the time off work. I am looking forward to going this year... BUT FUCKING BRUNO MARS?!?! seriously..
But, I'd love to see Eminem live. He never plays in the North West or in Canada.

I checked out the information online, it could be a little misleading.. but I also might have missed something. I wanted to make sure nothing was changing this year.

do people realize that you don't need to pay for parking if you are camping? I noticed some people selling their tickets saying 'including camping and parking'... just a coincidence?

Is there any speculation as to which artists are going to be added to the lineup? Usually it's about 15 artists, I think.
I'm guessing we are going to see more EDM, like Feed Me w/ Teeth from last year.
