How does lollapalooza already have it's day-by-day breakdown out but Sasquatch still doesn't?

Just an FYI, it looks like they did add Soccer Mommy to the poster and removed "& more!"

I am continuously impressed with the poor quality of Sasquatch's social media game right now. Not every single post needs to say "buy tickets." At least they have a social media presence now. This is true...the non-existent social media presence leading up to the lineup release was a strange strategy.

I never have really liked Wolf Parade but they kicked at Ponderosa last year. Very enjoyable live show. I could see them being extremely enjoyable in a small environment like that where everyone is having a great time regardless. Were you at their set at Rifflandia? I really couldn't get into that one, even though the crowd as a whole seemed to be enjoying it. I didn't particularly love their set last time they played Sasquatch.

Somewhat unrelated, but a shitpost nonetheless. Superorganism just released their debut album. Sort of sounds like MGMT and the Gorillaz.. I'm absolutely in love with it. Late add pls? I'm keeping an open mind with this band...but they kind of sound like kidz bop

This can be said about just about everything David Byrne has worked on but...American Utopia is hella weird.

Dan Bejar is the best part of The New Pornographers, but Neko is cool too. The New Pornographers are not a good band without Neko Case. I agree with this. Last time they played Sasquatch I was super disappointed by their Neko-less set. Other times when they've played the fest with the whole band, I was amazed.

So the late nights have a huge and disengaged crowds? Just seems counter intuitive. Not a lot of people go to this festival and everywhere else I've been people go harder at the later sets. I disagree with the disengaged/passive description. Yes, there have been late night sets where I am exhausted and have just stopped by the late night set or skipped it completely, and I have also witnessed a few sets where the band/artist had a hard time getting the crowd to full speed. However, some of my favorite, most high energy Sasquatch sets have been late night, including Spoon, Ratatat, Hot Chip, and Cut Copy. I don't even like deadmau5 (at all) and that crowd was giant and definitely engaged. See below video for an example; the crowd is the antithesis of passive. youtu.be/LwKgbLSRVtI

Anderson .Paak is quickly rising up my list of most excited to see. I had never really disliked him, but I kind of avoided him because his voice reminded so much of Kendrick that it was distracting. But now that I’m over that and giving him a fair shake, I am grooving like hell on both of his albums (Malibu, especially, but they’re both great). I haven’t really listened to The Free Nationals yet, but just knowing that they do these jams with a live band of any kind has me feeling some kind of way. His set may well be the biggest party of the weekend and I am damn sure going to be on the floor getting down with it. You will not be disappointed. Him and his band know how to throw a party, and he switches between dancing and rapping to absolutely killing it on the drums, while still rapping and singing. You should check out his project NxWorries, as well as his features, as he usually throws some of that material into his sets as well. I've said this before, but the A .Paak and the FN set was by far my favorite thing I saw at FYF last year and I saw a lot of good things at FYF.

Beach House just announced they're playing Arcosanti in Arizona May 11-13. Unlikely...but would be a great late add before they head to Primavera. I would highly recommend FORM if you have never been. I really wanted to go a couple years ago, looks amazing. With Sasquatch, won't be making it this year. But I hope we can snag some sweet sweet Beach House.

I've only listened to Ray a little since the lineup came out and thought he had a very Sasquatch vibe. He will be a good set to relax on the hill with. Edit: I think somebody said his backing band is (or at last was) MMJ minus James. So that would be pretty cool and would go a long way toward explaining how he's billed so high too. According to his website, his most recent tour was acoustic, and the Sasquatch dates are listed under the same tour title. That being said, Sasquatch is his first and only scheduled US date after bunch of European dates scheduled this year, so maybe it will be an electric set by then.

I kind of wrote off Ray LaMontagne early off...but I just listened to the song "part one - Hey, No Problems" from the setlist that Sasquatch! posted and I was impressed. *No Pressure? It didn't get a lot of love here but man did I ever love Ouroboros. Such a more psychedelic sound for him, probably helped by Jim James producing the record. Yes, sorry. I really screwed that one up trying to post while the song was still on. It's definitely more psychedelic...I was digging it. Definitely hear the Jim James influence.
