Chance the Rapper will probably be there if he drops an album next year, and if he is working on more material with James Blake and that makes him eligible for a spot at the Gorge then sweet, I'm alright with that (but it doesn't and it won't happen). One of those 6 Headlining spots will be a Hip-Hop artist, here's to no Macklemore 4-peat. Little Comets, Snakadaktal, The Internet, and Aluna George would be cool.
I offer my complete support of this! Last year at Pretty Lights was awesome, although I wonder if the throwing of the sticks can be timed better...I thought we were supposed to wait for a big drop but everyone pulled a Mother Superior and jumped the gun.
So I've never heard of Primus before, and everyone is so excited that I want to be excited about them too! but without context their music is very weird sounding, I think I might like it better if I knew why everyone else is so excited for them?
Les Claypool has been labeled as one of the best bass guitarists of all time. He's #hashtagsareforidiots #13 on this list -
Earl Sweatshirt is quite possibly one of the most talented rappers that will be there the entire weekend. He has been rapping with Odd Future since he was 15 (as Sly Tendencies) and is working on his solo release 'Doris' which should actually be out by the time Sasquatch! rolls around. He does a lot of his own production under the name RandomBlackDude, the song 'Chum' that is listed as his song on the Sasquatch website was produced by himself. He is quite possibly my favorite act that made it on the lineup, such a great surprise.
