So this will be my 8th Sasquatch. 6 previous times I did D9 and the last time I went I did premier (and would never do D9 again). What's the pros and cons of Wild Horse vs Premier (besides the food)? I was in D9 all the time then in 2015 I went to Wild Horse. It was so much better. The grass is actually maintained. I didn't end up with an allergy attack like I did every single year in D9. The shuttle was super easy. No cattle walk. They have a little "restaurant" for breakfast/lunch/dinner. They sell ice. They have charger stations. They clean their toilets daily and have showers. The people that run the place are super nice and pleasant to chat with. People do still party during the day but it is pretty chill at night so that would be the only negative if you want to go hard all night. I am usually in the venue from noon till the end so I am ready to pass the fuck out after a couple of beers when we get back to camp. So the more chill is alright with me.

I am going to have to revisit PUP's record from last year. I remember thinking it was kinda cheesy and I never really gave it another listen. I am slightly obsessed with Rosenstock since I took a dive into quote unquote records. That being said, I think I can make room for both PUP and Rosenstock in my anticipation list haha. Gonna listen to The Dream Is Over today.

This was brought up somewhere in the shitposting thread but I don't want to sift through all the Frasier .gifs again twice was good enough for me). What do we think the chancey chance the chiggity champ of champion chancellorsy chancey chance the chiggity champ of champion chancellors the chiggity champ of champion chancey chance the chiggity champ of champion chancellorsllorss are of this selling out quickly? I'm now holding off buying my pass until Sled Island announces their lineup and I have an opportunity to see how my Pearl Jam tickets go. Probably looking at buying in two weeks. I'm in the same boat in when I can buy dude. I already bought Wild Horse so I REALLY hope I don't have to find aftermarket tickets in a few weeks haha

I plan on seeing 2/3 of the headliners this year. Can't decide on location yet. Probably a game time decision.

While shuffling the Spotify playlist for this year’s iteration I’ve found myself loving Gang of Youths and TV on the Radio! Both are groups that I’ve known but never really given much attention to or have only heard one song by. They’re incredible and after spending quite a few hours listening I’ve only skipped two songs actively. TV on the Radio is sooooo goooooood I'm super excited they're on the lineup. Love their records but they are one of the few bands I have actually left their show because it sounded so shitty. It was a long time ago at The Moore. I have heard they aren't shitty live so it must have just been that certain night. Redemption time

Not sure if anyone on here has been watching Channel Zero but the third installment starts tomorrow. FUCKING STOKED! It is a horror show on Syfy. Each season is a different story so you don't have to see the first two for this one to make any sense.

It is good music to have on while working though. Sitting here reading pages and pages of documents with that on in the background makes things feel a little...peppy? haha

That's the whole thing. There are really only two guys. The choir consists of volunteers from the audience. The guys teach them the song, then everyone performs it together. With or without David Byrne, it sounds pretty cool. If Sasquatch ever breaks their streak of ABSOLUTELY NO GUEST PERFORMERS, it will be at this show. Off the top of my head the only one I can think of was El-P hopping on stage with Killer Mike. And no, not for the RTJ set.

First time listening to Slowdive (KEXP set on youtube) and they are pretty enjoyable. I don't think I've understood a single lyric so far though Do yourself a favour and listen to Souvlaki. This shit at the gorge is going to be one of the most mindblowing things to ever hit Sasquatch. I have only heard their newest album. It hasn't really sunk in for me but based on this board's reaction to them being on the lineup I feel it is only a matter of time. Gonna check Souvlaki out ASAP

One year we got The Mars Volta (don't @ me that ruled) and Built To Spill. I am 95% sure this was the same year. If you're thinking 2008 then you'd be correct! Ugh, that year had Battles too. 2008 was lovely

1. David Byrne (thanks board for introducing me) I am still not really familiar with any of his music. I have heard a talking heads live album and that is it. I look forward to diving into his stuff leading up to the festival! CORRECTION, i have his album with Brian Eno and the one with St Vincent
