This was brought up in another thread, but I think it is important enough that it needs its own thread. Assuming everyone is going this year, where is everyone planning to camp? I did Gold least year and it was wonderful. Being able to run back to camp and back into the festival in about 10 minutes was great, but I don't think it'll be in the budget again this year. I know several people did Wildhorse last year and enjoyed it and some people still did D9. Personally, I think I am leaning toward Wildhorse this year, but I'd like to know where everyone else stands. I would like to try to join up and actually camp with some of you fuckers this year. Let's use this thread to sort out the logistics of when/where everyone is going to be so we can make this happen.

Most likely District 9 but given things like alcohol, irresponsibility, laziness, and 1% chances... preggerhorse isn't totally ruled out, jk.

First of all, eww gross. Second, it is a little known fact but you don't actually have to be pregnant to camp at Wildhorse.

I have done Wildhorse my last two trips sans baby poop, and don't recall seeing any moms to be. Anyway, I will be there again for 2018.

newb question alert: what's wildhorse and how is it different from premier/gold/district 9 It's an independent campground about a mile down the road. They have a shuttle that runs back and forth to the venue. It's a little tamer than the Gorge campground, but they have showers and good food.

newb question alert: what's wildhorse and how is it different from premier/gold/district 9 It's a campground down the road that's not owned by the gorge. It costs about the same amount as general (generally), though it probably is more this year 'cause they dropped the camping price? It's an oasis of green grass and quiet spaces and the best goddamn burgers you've ever eaten. It is very unlikely you will be driven over by a high person there. But you might be admonished for peeing in between cars. One time I brought my pregnant sister-in-law to Sasquatch and so ever since then if you mention wildhorse you are soundly mocked and told you are pregnant. I don't make the rules.

I chose District 9 but honestly if I end up going this year it'll probably be for a condensed weekend and Wild Horse seems like a much easier campground to arrive late or leave early from.
EDIT: Changed to WH
