Courtney love and Lana Del Rey look likely? It's even more likely that was posted and discussed five days ago.

After 4 years of Sasquatch, I don't think I'll be going this year. After them screwing up last year and dropping a full day, and now charging some ridiculous prices for camping, it's just not worth it Let us know if you change your mind. We really wanted to meet you this year.

I did enjoy this very much on first listen. It's really quite good, and far more cohesive as an album than bounty. News flash. nick uses words like "cohesive" to display his hipster cred.

Ben Howard - I Forgot Where We Were is stellar. For a Tracy Chapman album.

As for the username, I wanted to see if a single character name would be allowed without expecting it to, and when it worked I just decided to go with it. Are you a pirate?

By the way, what do you call a gathering of board members at a musical event? Nerd Herd.

I've had my finger on the trigger of starting one for about two months, just haven't pulled it yet. Someone pull his finger.

The majority of us have just been busy this summer doing IRL thangs with each other. I've been sitting in front of my computer hitting refresh.

Looks like there's an empty slot for a Crystal Ballroom show on the website. They'll probably announce more additions to the lineup here soon. Built to Spill.

The shock has worn off, and I am now entering the pain & guilt stage of no more Death Grips. Don't worry. Once the shock of Death Grips no longer canceling shows wears off, they will reunite and cancel even more shows.

I can host a prefunk orgy since I live right next to the venue, but I don't think I have enough room for a post funk orgy. Especially because I'll be at High on Fire at Dante's late Saturday night.

Noted, thanks for the recommends. I'll be sure to bring that up should the evening take us that route. In this edition of "wonk hates downtown Seattle," I wandered around Saturday night looking for a coke to drink my whiskey with, and a bag of chips. I already know downtown Seattle is one of the worst places to visit if you need supplies to get you through the weekend. I've been there six times in the last two years, so I know of three places to get food after 10pm. But an open grocery store or convenience store late night is difficult to find. I went to Bartles at 9:50, only to find out they close at 8pm. A grocery store downtown closes at 8pm on a Saturday night? There were multiple people out front asking passers by, "any place to get anything this time of night?" I asked the hotel attendant, "anywhere close to get a Pepsi or a bag of chips?" He laughed and said, "no no, not at this time of night." It was 10:08pm. I wandered around for an hour looking for soda, and eventually walked into a hotel and asked where their soda machine was. I paid $2 for a 12oz can of Coke. At that point, it was worth it. I got back to Portland shortly after 10pm Sunday night, and walked passed six places on my way home (downtown) which served food and/or soda. They were all open until midnight, ON A SUNDAY. I know you Seattle hipsters will say, "the places to hang out here are not downtown," but the highest concentration of hotels reside downtown, plus an NFL stadium, and an MLB field. I've been downtown in many cities, and Seattle is a complete anomaly.

Read as: I am crazy and am the only person ever who is not in love with St. Vincent. If I was nearly incapacitated, Stormy would be my best translator. I could clinch my fist, fart, and making a choking sound, and she would say, "wonk is pissed at you, doesn't understand why you routinely talk out of your ass, and thinks you should suck his dick."

Pretty last minute, but some friends and I are headed to Portland tonight for the weekend. We are staying by the convention center if that helps. We have a basic plan, but if there's anything off the beaten path we should do, suggestions are welcome. Oh and it's for a bachelor party, so nudity bar suggestions are also welcome. You'll probably be bar hopping in the old town area which is right across the river from the convention center, so you only have a couple nudity bar options. Mary's is a nice shit hole, and the Magic Gardens is a not so nice shit hole. I think there is a new place called Dirty or something, but I've never been there. All the nice nudity bars are on the outskirts of town. If you have a ride, the Acrop south of downtown is a must. There are a couple nice ones next to each other in Beaverton, the Dolphin 2 and Stars.

Sunday has Justice vs. Modest Mouse vs. St. Vincent. I'll probably go with Justice because I just saw St. Vincent and I'll be seeing Modest Mouse back in Calgary. Does not compute?
