So Portugal. The Man came out with a new video which caused me to go on a Youtube bender today. They make some pretty great videos. I saw the second All Your Light video for the first time today and I'm not sure which I like better. They are both pretty awesome.

So either I'm going totally fucking nuts, or there is something wrong with my computer. Today, with my headphones on but no music playing, I hear "You've got mail' really fucking loud. I had not browser windows open and my no new emails. Ever since my Zune died, I listen to music on my phone. One day at work I was listening to Saturdays = Youth and I heard my name. I pulled my headphones off and turned around to see who had snuck up behind me. Nobody there. A few minutes later I heard my name again and quickly turned around. Still no one around. This happened a few more times during the day and I finally got fed up and started accusing co-workers of fucking with me. I was met with a lot of confused looks. A few months later, I was listening to the same album before I passed out and I heard my name again. I took my headphones off and walked around the house and no one was there. This probably happened 80% of the time I listened to that album. Last year when I was in Portland to see Justice and M83, I was about to pass out after the Justice show when I decided to listen to that album again. Every 30 seconds or so I would hear my name. I finally hit pause right after I heard it and the voice kept going. What I heard was a distorted voice message from my bank wanting me to call them to update my address. The first thing he said was my name and was just loud enough to hear over the music. The rest of the message was so quiet that I couldn't have heard it until I paused the music. This message was from 2 years ago, and wasn't saved to my phone.

Week 2 Standings. Americans continue to hold the first and last spot in the league. Saranater goes from 11th to 6th after proclaiming herself an embarrassment to Canada. Switch goes from 9th to 3rd and has taken control of the penalty minutes category; proving that it's not all nice on the ice. Daver's goalies spent more time whoring than stopping pucks. Quick question for everyone: Each slot is limited to a total of 48 games of use during the season. As such we have the following game limits in place. 432 games played by forwards (C, LW, RW) 240 games played by defensemen (D) 48 games played by utility (UTIL) 96 games played by goalies (G) Setting up a limit across the board was never my intention, I just kinda went with the defaults. I do have the option to edit them. Should I? I agree that the limits should stay in place. The only problem I have is that goalie limits are based on games played and not games started. It counts against your games played if you have a starter that gets a day off and then has to come in and play the last 10 minutes of the game because the backup has given up 8 goals. Please note that the main reason I dislike this setting is because wonk's goalie got pulled in the second period and one of my goalies took his place and ended up getting a win. I thought I had 3 wins with only two games counted toward my limit. It's for the best. This way, Gibbons will just dominate us all season long. I actually have no idea if my team is even good.

We were in the exact same place for ~30 minutes and then things just started moving fine again. It was like all of the staff took a lunch break at once or something. JAVIER!!!!!!!!!!!!Javier took a 30 minute break to bang a supermodel, base jump off the gorge, feed a stray dog, adopt an orphan child and teach him how to ride his motorcycle. But not before crafting a makeshift helmet out of loose twigs and cow patties; because if there's one thing Javier takes seriously, it's motorcycle safety.

I know absolutly nothing about hockey, but I'll play. I'll probably end up drafting Scott Gomez, Brandon Dubinsky, Joey Crabb, and Nate Thompson with my first four picks.

And yes, I am a fairweather just like every other Seattle sports fan who only gets excited about my teams when they perform like badasses.

All time Favourite Concert: Nero in the banana shack. The experience alone made it my favorite. You and Pea should have a lot in common. He's half Canadian as well.

Fine, I'll throw my support behind this guy.
Or maybe this guy?
Or maybe this guy?
Or this guy?
I guess my point is that it doesn't matter what year it is - people are dumb.
