I hate to continue this discussion but I watched a documentary about the porn industry a couple years ago and it isn't all about sluts who choose that lifestyle because they love sex and money. The women aren't calling the shots, getting rich, and living lush lifestyles. The porn industry is a male driven, nasty world where women are often times forced into it with no exit strategy. A lot of times women who end up in the porn industry are actually inspiring actresses that move to Hollywood to follow their dream and get associated with the wrong people. They are told they will be actresses and end up basically sex slaves to some fucked up people. The women have no money and no way out so they get trapped in this sick world that some power hungry psychos create. For the most part it is not a "choice" that a lot of these women would make. Unfortunately these women become victimized and manipulated.
There are a handful of porn stars, the really popular and well known ones, that did seek out that profession and did become successful. Jenna Jameson, Stormy, etc. They do have personal issues and personality flaws stemming back to their childhoods most likely. But even these porn stars are just objectified by a male driven industry.
Then you have a very very very small portion of the porn industry that is actually somewhat respectable. Usually this porn is directed by women and usually involves men and women in actual relationships displaying very romantic and sensual sex. The movie won't be from the guys point of view the whole time, the guy won't unload on her face, and you won't see some coked-out meat head choking any girls in these films.
That's what I have to say about that.

Just what we need, another duplicate thread adding to the already overwhelming amount of threads this board already possesses.

10. Bright Eyes - I was disappointed when I saw them in 2005 at the Moore, way back when I was living in Seattle. Too many pubescent girls screaming, "Marry me, Conor!". Too many weak songs. I want more I'm Wide Awake but I don't think that's where he's headed with his setlists this year. Here's hoping. As discussed, excellent first post. Anyway, HEY I WAS AT THAT SHOW! One of my first in Seattle. All I really remember about it is the band opening with Sunrise, Sunset. Sunrise, sunset. You lucky guy. That's a great song. (You might be wondering why I am responding to a post that was posted many moons ago. I drank a wee bit of whiskey tonight and decided to read this whole thread. I came across this gem of a post and had to respond)

Switch and J. Walter Weatherman are sticking around after Bassnectar to help clean up. You should join them. Oh god, don't remind me. What the hell kind of shit was coming out of my mouth when I said that? Embarrassing. I will repeat my stance: I do feel like it is wasteful....BUT.....I will be joining the fun and expect to see the biggest and most kick-ass glowstick extravaganza ever. I will not be picking up glowsticks after the set. Let's set the record straight. If I do it will only be because I want to take them back to my camp.

empty- Yes, you caught me. It was actually the last show that Hole did with Marilyn Manson because everyone booed Ms. Love off the stage. Someone also hit her with a shoe.
Pea- Unfortunately it was post Max. I had tickets to Ozzfest 96 when Sepultura (with Max) was on the tour but they cancelled the Spokane show and I was PISSED! That was right before Max left the band. PISSED!

They have security guards standing outside of your tent in the morning that escort you to the gate. It's a hard knock life.

"Can you say what you mean? And can you mean what you mean what you say? And can you say what you mean? Every single day?
Reach out a hand to somebody who needs a hand. And reach out a heart to somebody torn apart. Its hard, this livin, this life we've been given. Locked in your soul, or locked up in prison. Remember you have to reach high to be risen. The day you let go is the day you are forgiven."
