apparently a video of Jack Black riding a Sasquatch through a forest was just shown at the launch party, hence the Tenacious D post They do have a new album and I mean It's been years coming, that they have been rumoured. But It's just a logical graphic. And yes "rumoured is spelled with an extra "u" where I live.

Rumour's are crazy weak (a month leading up to the line-up announcement). But at least it's a 15 page thread where Jack Johnson or Ben Harper have not been mentioned.

I will not be awake at 9am once that weekend, but I wouldn't necessarily count out sleep drinking. I approve of this. No matter how dangerous it may sound.

I suppose if Axis of Awesome is considered comedy you can consider Reggie Watts. I guess I considered him more of a dance tent artist. Meaning after 7:00pm

There are currently 4 comedians on the line-up. Tim Michin, Tig Notaro, Axis of Awesome, Trailer Park Boys. Last year there was 16 comedians. Looks like quite a few adds from now until Mem long weekend. Jon Lajoie Please.

Bobby Ricigliano was Favreau's character from that god-awful non-sequel to Swingers. And yeah I know its misspelled. It's one of the joys of a 12th grade Canadian education.

Settle down there Carmen San Diego Maybe I'm slow cause, cause I'm old and have been on this board for too long. But is this shit directed at me? Kinda funny. But BobbyRisigliano, doesn't even rhyme with CarmenSandiego. And I'll give you a $20 PBR if you can even reference who BobbyRisigliano is without going and searching on your little Google. As for there being no evidence that Sasquatch will fill those slots that I suggested. I agree. But Friday 2006 they had 8 bands on the mainstage. I believe they will have to at least add 2 more. I know this for a fact, that back in 2006 those individual Friday tickets costs less than Saturday and Sunday individual tickets. And with Foo Fighters not having announced their tour yet. It only stands to reason that those 2 bands would also play.

Also does anyone remember set times for Friday Sasquatch 2006? There were 8 bands. All on the mainstage. I also remember NIN taking forever to announce the special guest. It then turned out to be Bauhaus, and everyone was collectively disappointed. I believe they announced only 2-3 weeks prior to the actual event. Correct me if I'm wrong?

Here's the way I see it. Sasquatch has obviously has two stages going on that day. As you can clearly see in the link below. www.sasquatchfestival.com/#/schedule/Green= Main Stage Blue= Bigfoot If they're starting the festivities at 3PM and they have 3 bands on mainstage and 2 bands on the side stage, you gott figure/ deduce a couple things 1. The Foo Fighters "Angle" a) They are going to play for 3 hours. Like The Cure and NIN did on the Friday in 2006 b)They have yet to announce their Spring/Summer tour. We don't even know who they're touring with folks. It could be two pretty big names. So look for those two to fill out a couple mainstage slots. I'm betting on Mastadon and Eagles of Death Metal maybe Wolfmother?. But those are complete random guesses. c) Could they pull in QOTSA? Probably not. But with their tour ending in Los Angeles in April, with no PNW dates and just two west coast dates in California. You never do know? 2. The DFA1979 "Angle" a)They're pretty ecstatic to be back together. Or so says Sebastian: deathfromabove1979.com/some-words/So you have to figure that they're not only just planning to do a couple "one off" festival reunion shows. They will most likely also tour. So they will at least have one supporting act. I know what you all might be thinking. Could DFA1979 open for The Foo Fighters? I think not. If we all have our heads out of our asses. We know that's even a stupid question to ask. So with three more bands added to the 3 we already have. That, pretty much fills up a mainstage starting at 3:00pm. Here's the proof 3:00pm Foo Fighters First opener (on tour) 4:15pm DFA Opener (on tour) 5:25pm The Bronx 6:55pm Foo Fighters Second Opener (on tour) 8:30pm DFA1979 10:00pm Foo Fighters As for the side stage. You only have to fill it up with 3 maybe 4 acts depending if you start it right at 3:00 or wait until 4:00. Either way. I think there will be some significant local adds on the side stage. Lots of Pacific NorthWest stuff. Here's my predictions, for set times for Friday's Side Stage (Bigfoot): 4:00 TBA 5:00 TBA 6:10 TBA 7:30 Rival Schools 9:00 Against Me! BTW. I think it would be a good add if they had Alexisonfire opening for Against Me!. Seeing as Dallas Green (City&Colour) is going to be there the next day anyway? But I believe we are in for some definite adds. Just wait till DFA1979 and FF announce their tours. Kind of on the same topic. I've worked out a schedule, according to last years set times. If everyone is in agreemance that Bassnectar and MSTRKRFT will be the late night's on Saturday and Sunday, respectively. The as I see it we're in for 5 more adds. 2 bands on the BIGFOOT stage on Saturday 1 band on the Yeti on Sunday 1 band on the Yeti and MAINSTAGE on Monday OH and 8 more comedians. Tell me if you guys think that's reasonable? I believe they will all be lower tier bands. Maybe a 2nd tier type band after Matt & Kim before Iron & Wine? The main stage add on Monday will be something local and early. Like a choir or something. Maybe Wilco plays a 3 hour set and they scrape that first time slot all together? All I know, Is that they'll pile on the Monday. And people that have tickets will be itching to get there early. GUARENTEED!

So I could drive a semi truck onto camping grounds this year and not pay a penny extra on top of my ticket. Is that what is my understanding?

I believe Alberta Cross should be under a new heading:
"Bands that will leave you soaking in your little indie panties, and leave you uncomfortable for the rest of the evening."

@ Alex Yeah, the Alex I'm talking about is this guy consequenceofsound.net/users/?user=Alex-YoungCoS is pretty good with festival updates. But I guess not as good or fast as this dude Peatrick who is actually at the show. His silence right now gets me excited. I'm hoping for an announcement soon. I'm on the west coast. So I want to hear the lineup and then go out for some drinks with a bunch of friends and plan and ponder.
