Loyalfromlondon, Suggestions on headliners with "Spectacle" possibilities. Radioheads No Chance in Hell and I'm pretty sure NIN is not making there way to the Gorge. I saw Metallica here in Calgary. But they're not Sasquatch Material at all. Coldplay is not my cup of tea as a grand healiner and they've all but been ruled out. Killers have a Seattle show already. No Doubt is out cause of schedualing conflicts. This is why i think more and more bands like Tool and Oasis are being throw out there for possible headliners? How bout Green Day? This is why i'm starting to really wonder what they're going to pull out of there hat? Cause usually they have one headliner that pretty much no one else has every year, and then a couple repeats. Looking @ the headliners of the 2 biggies that announced. were not getting Bruce or sir Paul those are exclusives. We had The Cure last year and the Beasties 2 years before that. and NIN 3 years. I know the Lips have headlined twice. But once was cause Ben Harper was being a little bitch and last year i think they kinda just stumbled upon it (thats just my opinion) cause they didnt have a day 3 headliner and then the Lips just said what the hell we're playing everything else.

Loyal from London, I agree on the "HOLY SHIT" factor. Sasquatch usually has headliners that put "ON A SHOW"! Like lights and props and naked chicks (Flaming Lips), Giant old school moniters on Poles (Arcade Fire), Marionettes (Beck), 22 piece Asian unic choirs (Bjork). I just can't find those headlining bands this summer? That is the eact reason i thought the Cure and REM were kind of a dissapointment last year because of the lack of stage show.

Greenman, No doubt about it. with the lineup i made, i would absolutly die. But with that being said, I would love lots of people info with some knowledge of up and coming bands from the N.W. Such as Seanzor gave me three bands Jaguar Love, Past Lives and the Murder City Devils. I will listen to these bands and gingerly place them in my lineup.

Seanzor, Great. As posted before there is a lack of N.W. Bands. I'm going to slowly tweek my Lineup as the days go by. I would love about 10 local bands to replace some bands such as Rilo Kiley, Hot Chip, Handsome Furs, Dodos, ChadVangaalen. I want a realistic representation.

Here's a question for all. Does anybody think Fake posters actually influence the lineup anyway. Suggesting that maybe bands will come out with their tour dates earlier to disspell rumors. I know most likely not, but i'm wondering why festivals such as the 'Roo, Coachella or Lolla get so many rumours. Even Rothbury gets more and thats smaller than Sasquatch? I'm dying here. Its less than a month away and we don't even have a SNIFF at one headliner. By this time last year we were Guaranteed one (REM) and pretty sure about the other (the Cure) because of their Seattle cancellation. Somethings gotta give soon.

knowidyu, see that was my dilemma. I agree with you one hundred percent about most bands on the Yeti stage i usually don't know 75% of them as well and yeah i find that i'm up on music as well. So in that respect it was hard to do the lineup. As for your David Byrne point i looked back and would rebill them Higher than TV on the Radio, but that wouldn't go over so well with fans i think. Any suggestions on a replacement for him?

"Mixed up" each to his own. I thought i kept like music generally together as well as bands that are playing together on tour. And if i know someone will notice but i'll put it out there. I was hoping for a late night New Pornos Set on Saturday.

What i basically did was take all the confirmed and the rumors out there, some wishes and wants from the board, about 10 coachella acts cause we all know that's about how many do the cross over. Some repeats and Headliners that no one else has. I also figured if they could pull Neil Young, PJ would just fall into place? Oh and Sigur Ros is a total shot in the dark, Although David Byrne is not<wink wink nug nug> Please tell me what you all think?

Whatever band or side project or solo adventure Bob Mould is currently working on would be great and kind of likely. I'm just so happy this board isn't planning Sasquatch, and I'm really hoping it's not the voice of the the majority, though I kind of feel like the personal fantasies might be misrepresenting the buried ambitions each poster has for the festival, because apparently 99% of message board posters couldn't program a festival worth shit, so more props to the people who do and I am very glad they don't listen to the bullshit people vomit out here. AKA I truly hope believe and wish the final product will blow away the altrock dipshit expectations of this board, Pearl Jam aside because I'm on that wagon, it's fucking Pearl Jam and they've worked for that spot, but what I'm saying is that this board has people who seem to think that Band Who Had One or Two Cool Songs on the Radio When I Was in Middleschool would be great, and maybe that's because The Cure and REM got everyone confused about what the exact intentions were for this festival, which from my personal trips and what I gather is a catering to underrepresented music lovers, who dig really underrepresented music, and don't listen to just ANTYHING, for fuck's sake, who don't ask for Any Band With a Radio Hit, so let's stop all this Oasis nonsense and really hope for something great. You agree with me. I know you do because I'll see you at Sasquatch! and you'll be being happy that it's not these crap bands playing. Mr./Mrs. ssss I can only agree with much of your analsys. But in a way I go to Sasquatch to see the likes of Harvey Danger or Nada Surf or P.U.S.A because they did have a couple hits when i was in middle school and they've vastly expanded their catalogue since. Truely though if you want the obscure great bands like Deerhoof or Extra Golden or DFA 1979 you need to attend a SXSW or Sled Island up here in good Ol' Canada.

My 3 bands are -Paul McCartney -The Killers -The Cure Wow I'm glad i'm not going to Coachella. With those 3 shitty preformers headlining there's no way that the Quatch won't have better headliners this year? Have fun with the 50 year olds on Friday. Better get more ambulances down there, with all the Morrisey and McCartney fans. Old people will ruin that fest.

I can guarentee you that the lineup has been finalized. I wrote Adam Zacks (Head Curator) a email asking him to consider the band BOATS to play the 3rd stage. This was about two weeks ago, he said that the lineup was completely finalized.

We are most certainly not from the East. Or most of us are not at least. And as I remember with the Verizon shows is that you had to have a Verizon contract or something to that effect and they would send you some secret shit via your email. Funny thing is that I'd bet that about a third of Sasquatch's crowd are from Canada if not more and the fact that Verizon is a strictly American company. Alienating a third of your paying customers with a bogus american only advertiser is kinda not the best business?

Yeah two years ago we showed up at around 5.30 the Friday Morning and we got in. So it should be open. There will be a mobile unit on your right hand side when you drive up.

Yeah there's ice at the "Convenience Store" at the head of the campgrounds on your left right when you come in. They may have ran out of Ice before but I don't recall. You can also pick some up coming from out of town in George WA. Just a 8-10 minute drive from the campsite.

Top 5
1)R.E.M (My must see headliner) 2)The Breeders (My 'Old School' music for the weekend) 3)The Presidents of the United States of America (Fucking Peaches!) 4)Cold War Kids (See what last years Hype was all about) 5)Ghostland Observatory (Last years set blew my mind)
Bottom 3 1) Ozomatli (Last year was terrible, and I stay ed for most of it? Why?) 2) Micheal Franti & Spearhead (Go back to playing Shambala already! Oh and if you skipped the Beastie Boys for this guy last year you're DUMB!) 3)The Comedy Tent (I thought there was going to be at least one huge name? They should put Flight of the Concords headlining the Tent on Sunday and replace them with Ryan Adams and the Cardinals on the mainstage.)
