Have single day tickets sold out the day of sale in the past? Not to my knowledge, and I'm pretty sure that is accurate. Last year was the biggest year for ticket sales and it took some time for them to start running out of tickets to any of the individual days.

They aren't even the Smashing Pumpkins anymore. There's only one original member left, and he's a fucking tool. This. Having been a been a fan of them for years and never having seen them before I was pretty excited to see them a few years ago, but it turned out that there were only 2 original band members (now there's only one) and Billy Corgan is a tool. He still has a great sound, but I feel the band has more than run its course. Now their concerts just serve to feed Billy's ego. No thank you. Yo would you guys be cool with The Beatles headlining? Not sure if they're touring or not, kinda out of the loop. Lawlz.

Saw the Cee Lo Green performance last night on SNL, and I was damn impressed! The guy has a great voice as is evident from his work in Gnarls Barkley, but his stage presence and visual effects were stellar. The VFX during his first song reminded me heavily of RHCP's "Zephyr Song" video. I would definitely enjoy seeing him on the Sasquatch main stage. My only complaint is that his supporting band seems a bit contrived; it's made up of 4 smoking hot females, who I can only guess were first selected for their looks and then for their musical ability. This is the sort of complaint that I think I would quickly get over if I saw them live.
I looked him up and he is touring right now. He'll be in Aus next month and the UK in March. Maybe a NA tour after that?

Wow. No thanks, douchers. I like how every year they make a new and improved (and more expensive) camping option that just sounds less and less like an outdoor music festival. Pretty soon they're going to build an air conditioned tunnel that links the entire festival so that the Sasquatch elite never have to step foot outside once during the course of the weekend. Oh, but at least they get drink specials! Totally worth the 5 grand.

My jokes are neither funny nor comprehensible. Which makes sense, if you think about it. Right.

IN WHAT WORLD DO YOU ROUND 9 DOWN??? Whoa, I really thought you were I8 the first (and second) time I read this. But seriously, I'm pretty sure he meant, "did you round up or down to get that last 9?" That's just not how it came out. The joke would have been funnier otherwise.

One cool thing about Wild Horse is if you want to car camp beside friends who are showing up at a different time than you in a seperate car.The staff is friendly and if asked they will hold a spot beside your camp for friends showing up later. Each reservation is under a name so we told the person at the front gate who we were waiting for. We set up camp and relaxed and they brought them right to us! If that is a non factor, the gorge camp ground is the shite. That is really nice of them, and something I could never see the Gorge camping staff doing. That being said, some of my friends usually show up the night before the music starts and I usually roll in the morning of and I have never had problems driving to where they are. Granted we use flags to denote our site and cell phones to get us in the right vicinity, but it has always worked out.

NO NO NO STOP TRYING TO REVIVE THIS THREAD Heh, I thought it was well dead myself. They bring up a good point though. RATM would be way better than SOAD, and almost any other act you can name for that matter. Almost as good as *gasp* the almighty Radiohead!

Not thrilled with mine, especially since Juan Bermudo is already a composer. Oh well, made it into 2 people with the convenient "&" hanging on the wall.

Also if I ever need a band name I will definitely try that wikipedia random button, I didn't even know that existed. It is a great procrastination tool. I'm going to get started on mine in a bit. Has anyone ever played the Wikipedia Game? You'll never be bored again. thewikigame.com/

That is some good shit, Pea. I didn't see the 200ft high tent at Sasquatch, but the year of the wind storm a friend of mine's tent most definitely blew away. Took her a couple hours to find it. She was pissed.

I didnt think I would even care, but I LOVED Franti/Spearhead in 08. I'll take them at Squatch as often as I can get them. In 2008, when he started pounding his guitar on the high hat near the end of the show, I was wanting to hug the people around me. He was moved to the back stage in 2007 because of the wind, and actually closed the night, since the Beastie Boys ended before he was done. The masses of people leaving the main stage, only to find more music near the exit was a very memorable experience. With that said, I found his local show pretty boring. That show in '07 was unforgettable. I've said it before and I'll say it again: I love watching my favorite bands close the seconds stage. At the time I was really into Michael Franti and Spearhead, so when I learned that they had been moved to the side stage I was thrilled. It meant I would miss the Beasties, but I had already seen their instrumental set as well as Mix Master Mike that weekend so I wasn't as concerned. Now, in hindsight considering MCA's illness and my waning enthusiasm for MF+SH I'd make a different decision, but at the time I had no regrets whatsoever. A friend of mine tagged along with us and kept complaining about how much he hated reggae, but as soon as they get into their first song he was bopping up and down with the rest of us. Franti can put on a show like no other, and you just can't help but feel the love he emanates.

Badu acted like a self-righteous diva during Sasquatch 09. I will go to my grave hating myself for not being a Girl Talk fan back then and suffering through her set instead of watching him. I only saw a bit of EB, but her performance just wasn't doing it for me. It quickly led to the coining of the term "Erika Badon't." I think under different circumstances I might really enjoy a concert of hers, but it wasn't happening at the time. The Girl Talk show was loads of fun, but I can see it not being so if you're (andi is) burnt out on him. It was my first time seeing him so I was loving it, but I've seen him twice since and his performances are pretty similar. As long as you don't burn out though you can count on his gigs being a good time.
