george w bush: great president? or the greatest president? ha! To be fair... I'd much rather George Bush appear at Sasquatch in 2011 than Kanye West.

kanye is a douche and I'd make damn sure to be at another stage if they ever booked him. Jay-Z on the other hand would be a good add, however I don't think they'd ever book a hip hop artist as a headliner, which he'd have to be considering he sells out places bigger than the gorge.

Saul Williams would be a more worthwhile alternative to this.

admin please close this thread. kthx There's no need to lock threads this time of year unless they are duplicates. I'm more excited people are still posting, as this board died for months after the festival last year. If anything, it gives us a reason to talk about possible rap headliners/subs/inclusions. For what it's worth, I think Jay-Z would be more likely, but either are doubtful.

This thread is mostly a joke (although I love Kanye and would be front row to see his show...), but seriously guys are we already at the point where we are recommending outlandishly huge headliners? Jay-z isn't going to be there for the same reason Radiohead, Pearl Jam, and Dave Mathews won't be there.
ps. If i am going to be wrong about anything i hope it's this, Jay-z would absolutely kill at Sasquatch

Looks like a pretty killer show based on the above video. As a Kanye fan, I would say that show is one I kick myself for not attending. A bunch of hippies, Pearl Jam fans, and indie rockers high on drugs chanting "Kanye Sucks," would only add to how great the experience would've been.
