Saw Pickle Jam last night and tonight going to see Floor Tim's other band. This band is a country outfit, apparently. We are currently getting country music drunk to prepare.

This band is a country outfit, apparently. Did you see Floor Tim when he left the house this morning? He was totally wearing a country outfit.

I'm going to be getting my country on in a couple weeks. My high school friend and Dead tour buddy from back in the day is coming into town with his band "The Deep Dark Woods". They played SXSW last year and have a steady and loyal following. Stoked to see him/ them... so how does one get country drunk?

You watch an instructional DVD for an RV and drink whenever they say RV or motorhome and whenever they tell you not to do something.

Knob? as in the Bourbon/Whiskey? Hmm, I've never tried that before. I'm more of a beer or wine kinda guy. Unless I'm looking to be efficient, then it's Sailor Jerry's Spiced Rum mixed with the Doctor of Pepper. But if this is Country Drunk Law than so be it. AAND as far as the motorhome game goes, I have just the neighbor to borrow the DVD from!

You may be joking here but I Dr. Garbanzoured I would respond regardless. I signed up for NINs mailing list so I could get pre-order and they are treating it like Nick Cave did on his recent stop to Seattle. The purchaser has to pick up the ticket at will call and the whole party must be there. You get escorted directly into the venue and no re-entry. I was joking but I probably would have actually done it if someone responded. Thanks for the head's up, BadChoices. I also want to take this opportunity to personally apologize to you. At Sasquatch when Burrito and I finally found you we were so excited to smoke you out and then after we left the hill I learned that in the end YOU were the one who smoked US out. So now we owe you, like 3-fold. If you have a chance to drop by tonight and collect after your shows, you will be handsomly rewarded. I was in no position to go anywhere after the show on Friday. Wish I would have read this post before I decided to go off the deep end and swan dive into Rum and Cokes No apologies needed. We will make it happen sooner than later. Also, you smoked me out before that show Burrito and I went to a long time ago so I was just repaying the favor

Has anyone heard how much NIN tickets are going to be? Stupid budgeting is hard when it's imaginary numbers.

I've heard between $50-100. I think I might just try to buy a GA ticket and hope some of the people I know going will also have GA.

I just won two tickets to Grace Potter and the Nocturnals at the Crystal Ballroom in Portland on the 22nd. I've never listened to them, so I don't especially feel like going. Would anybody want to trade me that pair of tickets for a pair of tickets to an upcoming show? Or just pay me like $25 for the pair? (Face value is $25 each) Here's the link to the show: www.mcmenamins.com/events/113889-First-of-two-nights-withEDIT: Ok, haha, I just realized I won a pair of tickets to BOTH nights. So I now have a pair of tickets to their shows at the Crystal Ballroom on the 22nd and the 23rd. There had to have been basically nobody entered in either contest. This is from the same site that I got my Sasquatch tickets though. I wish there were more artists on that site that are any good, otherwise this would be a very unique situation to get loads of free tickets it seems.
