ICP is in Boise tonight. Tickets had 2 huge busses at the venue AND another two at the hotel they were at. Isn't that a bus for each member?

My coworker was commenting about how he is surprised they could afford to each have a full size custom tour bus. He kind of has a point. It's kind of sad there are still some pretty prominent artists that can't do that.
On a related note. Skrillex sells out the Knitting Factory in Spokane, and a band like Opeth might not even sell out before the day of the show.
On another related subject. The Wilma in Missoula has a capacity of about 1000 the same as the Knitting Factory, and usually sells out in advance for most shows. So, more artists are coming to Missoula. Which is pretty cool.

Opeth deserves to lose fans. This comes from someone who almost got their "O" tattooed on my arm years ago. I'm so over that band and Mikael's self-serving prog rock masturbation.
On a dancier note!
Neon Indian, Com Truise, and Purity Ring tomorrow at the Crocodile tomorrow! Such a fun lineup...can't wait for some mid-week boogying!

My friends and I played D & D with a self confessed juggalo. His best statement of the night? "Chicks dig me because I'm a bad ass juggalo." He was disgusting. SWEET JESUS THIS IS THE MOST REVOLTING POST I'VE EVER READ ON THIS BOARD

Really? I'll admit I'm less familiar with him than the other two in the lineup, but I've heard he puts on an entertaining show. Hrmmph :/

Just curious as to which part you find more disgusting? My friends and I played D & D with a self confessed juggalo. His best statement of the night? "Chicks dig me because I'm a bad ass juggalo." He was disgusting. SWEET JESUS THIS IS THE MOST REVOLTING POST I'VE EVER READ ON THIS BOARD

admittedly, my disdain for him is mostly due to my inability to embrace EDM (or whatever term the kids are using right now). I just don't understand the appeal to about 90% of those acts out there. When Catherine and I saw him open up for Phantogram - i was just like 'huh? this is fucking ridiculous. and why did he give himself the worst/least creative stage name of all time?!'
still, its possible (and highly likely) that i'm completely wrong about his music. maybe i'm just missing something.
i really hope you have a great time at the show!
*EDIT* but, until further notice, Com Truise is my nightmare.

I skipped his set at Bumbershoot mostly due to the reviews I read here. I am a fan of electronic music myself. Maybe I should get a second opinion next time. There are horrible EDM artists, but if that review was based on your disliking EDM that kind of sucks for me.

I don't have a specific problem with EDM, but the truth is that 98% of EDM artists are truly fucking terrible. That has to do with it being the 'in' thing right now, though -- back in the 90's when grunge and then alternative was the 'in' thing, every doofus with a guitar formed a band and the vast majority of those bands were fucking terrible too.
I'd say one electronic artist out of fifty is worth paying attention to. The worst thing most music listeners lack is the ability to discern. It's never LISTEN TO DEADMAU5!!, instead it is LISTEN TO DERPSTEP!!.
