I was probably looking over your head the entire show. Had I actually read what you posted before the show I would have found you without even trying. Ah well, next time.

Mastodon and motherfucking Dillinger Escape Plan on November 6th. This will be my first legit metal show in over 4 years. DEP was one of the first extreme bands I ever got into well over a decade ago and I've never seen either them or Mastodon so this has been a long time coming. Can. Not. Wait.

I'm seeing amon tobin at the paramount here in seattle on thursday. Baths just canceled which bummed me out, but MOTHA FUCKING ESKMO took his spot. So its Tokimonsta+ESKMO+Amon Tobin. This is going to be intense. I don't think there are many people here that care about or listen to this style of electronic music, but I am beyond excited.

I've seen both of them twice. Both great.

The girls love to swoon to Dallas Green. I don't really get it.
Damn, I would love to see Low Anthem again, definitely not worth it though...

Oh wow, The Cure doing a couple more "Reflections" shows, where they play their first three albums in their entirety.
Three shows in LA and New York in November....Time to go over the ole budget to see if I can make this work.

As a Canadian girl I can say he does not do it for me, but I did notice quite a few underagers as I was leaving the venue as he came on the other day. Maybe it's a "ooh, he's such a bad boy but he's sooooooo sensitive" thing? Girls can be stupid for that.

alexisonfire was much bigger in Canada than they were in the US so in terms of the two projects popularity up here, I think it's easy to equate it in that way.
It doesn't explain the US really, but I think the fact that Dallas Green already had ties to labels and some radio definitely helped to get his new project off the ground a bit faster in the states. It's also considerably more accessible than aof.

BB King coming to Portland. I guess I better see him now before he's gone. Which will probably be soon.

I just saw 2 tour buses with big hatchet man logos on them parked at a motel. Reminded me that ICP is in Missoula tonight. Lucky for me I was on my way out of town.
Actually it might have been kind of entertaining, but I couldn't handle being in building with 1000 juggalos.

Actually it might have been kind of entertaining I will mail a box of cat shit to the next person who expresses this sentiment. We need to stop perpetuating this myth. Nothing good can come of it.
