Actually it might have been kind of entertaining I will mail a box of cat shit to the next person who expresses this sentiment. We need to stop perpetuating this myth. Nothing good can come of it. Yes, Master Gramma. You are correct with your infinite wisdom. Please don't mail me a box of cat shit.

For the record, the first time Cy here got sniffy with me was in defense of fucking Insane Clown Posse. I think some kind of custom tag under his avatar is needed to reflect this.

Amon Tobin was THE most insane visual performance I have ever seen. Being in the balcony was perfect for this show. I just sat there in total amazement the whole time, as well as everyone else in the audience. His 30min encore was absolutely insane, and he had multiple standing ovations just because his shit was just that loony.

Actually it might have been kind of entertaining I will mail a box of cat shit to the next person who expresses this sentiment. We need to stop perpetuating this myth. Nothing good can come of it. Not to reignite this discussion, but as far as sentiments go, I think the hipster notion of finding everything "interesting" is sort of aligned with the philosophy of not attaching moral value to tastes, etc. So in that sense it's certainly a lot better than "intolerance" (and I'm not saying anyone here is practicing intolerance). I just think it's funny that, in trying to be ironic ("let's go to the Gathering just to see what it's like!") hipster philosophy is actually sort of really progressive ("not bad or good, just different"). All that being said, I8 stated it most succinctly: "Friends don't let friends ironically attend the gathering."

As a troubled young lad who actually loved ICP in my tween years, I have every right to be curious about them and their fans/events.

Yeah dude, I was really into ICP for a minute too. In, like, a totally un-ironic way. I lived in Utah at the time and had no real concept of the culture that was attached to the music and I just thought it was weird and hilarious.
So I also have every right to be curious, and even am a little. I just don't like the idea of crashing someone else's party so that you can laugh at how fat, uneducated and poorly dressed they are, if that makes any sense.

I had never heard of this guy before and don't pay that much attention to this style of music, but after looking at some wacky ass YouTube footage I really want to see this show. That looks insane.

I didn't ever really get into ICP like many of my friends did. They really aren't good artists. They suck at rhyming. Their production seems to get worse over time. They seem to appeal to rebellious youth, and most fans grow out of them. The few that remain true are a special breed. Usually uneducated white trash.

That attitude is not acceptable. But I don't think that's why Geno or Cysquatch-formerly-mtsquatch wants to go to an ICP show.

My friends and I played D & D with a self confessed juggalo. His best statement of the night?
"Chicks dig me because I'm a bad ass juggalo."
He was disgusting.

Was he the DM? I'd be curious to see what a Juggalo's campaign would look like, seeing that they already have both feet in Fantasy Land as it is.

No he wasn't. We didn't end up getting that much done because we were all so disgusted by this guy.

How much do you usually 'get done' when sitting down to play D & D without a juggalo?
