Panda Bear album this fall. Panda'd be right at home on the Wook. Avey Tare just released an album too. Separate sets for early in the day and then Animal Collective later? That'd be fucking rad.

Avey said he's not touring for 'Down There', which is too bad.

Cut Copy officially announced their new album details last week. I'm certain they will at least make the summer festival circuit, which hopefully means a Sasquatch stop! They would bring an enormous crowd to their set. i concur. the lollapalooza crowd for them was ridiculous - i imagine there would be a similar response at Sasquatch Fingers crossed for a late night show. I think they could also close out the festival on the main stage Monday night as well.

Out of curiosity, do bands often wrap up a tour on another continent and play a show a few days later? I've never understood the stamina of some of these bands.

^^ Ahh I didn't think of that. Good point, unfortunately Out of curiosity, do bands often wrap up a tour on another continent and play a show a few days later? I've never understood the stamina of some of these bands. It's a 9 day tour with 8 shows, and then 5 days off if they play the last day of Sasquatch. I don't really think stamina is an issue here.

Except the probability of them playing Primavera is super high considering they've played before and their connection to ATP who has a stage at the fest.

Pitchfork's glowing review of 'IsThis It' was almost ten years ago. Enough time has passed, you won't lose any cool points by acknowledging that they're one of the lamest Next Big Things ever.

How about some representatives from Saddle Creek: Bright Eyes, The Faint, Cursive.
Also: The Helio Sequence, Pinback, Sea Wolf, Tilly and the Wall, Primus, Feist, and Blitzen Trapper.
Make it happen

I love the Decemberists but hated Hazards of Love. The new songs they've played off the upcoming album sound a lot like their other albums though so that makes me happy. I missed their set in 09 so I wouldn't mind seeing them next year. Hazards of Love is a brilliant album. I compare it to Pink Floyd the Wall. It is a full story and music experience that blows my mind. I saw them perform it live, every song with no break, and it was incredible.

Really looking forward to 'The King is Dead' or whatever its called. Everything since 'Her Majesty' has been ridiculously overblown and embarrassingly bad. 'The perfect the perfect the perfect the perfect the perfect the perfect cry-yummm...' Kill me please.

Switch the half of your list that isn't Saddle Creek is pretty ok. Regarding Conor Oberst: WRONG KID DIED.

I was going to mention the strokes, I'd assume if they're doing european festivals than they'll be doing american ones as well and if they are in europe in july then they might still be in america at the end of may.
Friday: Arctic Monkeys----Foo Fighters Saturday: Death Cab---The Strokes Sunday: Belle and Sebastian-----Flaming Lips Monday: Fleet Foxes-------Wire
Wire have a portland date in april but are skipping seattle, I'm not a big fan but I could see them closing out the fest. Similar to ween last year.
