Pear Jam will not not be playing. Period. Regardless of whether they are celebrating their 25th or not, they will not be at Sasquatch. Should they decide to celebrate their 25th, as the Twitter conference suggested, they will celebrate on their own terms. 2-3 days at The Gorge (with friends). No festival attached. I'm sorry, and I will be the first to say sorry if I'm wrong!! You are probably right, but the " announcing tour dates the first part of the year" bit combined with it seeming like the Sasquatch lineup will come out three weeks earlier than usual makes me optimistic.

If they play their own shows at The Gorge then Sasquatch will have to be another year for this guy. Time will tell.

I'd be really bummed if Pearl Jam wasn't going to play because I really would love to see the kind of dads that would be at that festival.

I'm also the kind of dad that would go to their own show at the gorge. Honestly, as great as having them headline Sasquatch would be, I would almost prefer them having their own show so they can play as long as they want without being locked into a festival time slot. I just want to see them at the Gorge, one way or another.

They play wayyyy too long for Sasquatch. They played until they turned the fucking power off when I saw them at voodoo (nearly 3 hours), and then played for almost 3 and a half hours when I saw them on their own a few months later that same year.

Also, what about Beach House? They had a big 2015 and aren't yet scheduled to play the NW and don't currently have a conflict. I feel like they're approaching the level of a national/bon iver/sleater kinney sized headliner, or a sub-headliner at a minimum. Just totally randomly speculatin' here.

I don't think this has been discussed, but Silversun Pickups seem likely to me. They played in PNW in September but they were small acoustic shows so I don't think that counts. They are doing Hangout presumably with the full band but no other tour dates around that time, which implies to me they are in some festival lineups that haven't been announced yet, ie Sasquatch. They haven't been since 2012, so I'm thinking they'll be back.

Fuck, Four Tet late in the tent sounds unbelievable. Really hoping I don't have to skip someone like The Cure for him though (a'la Bon Iver for James Murphy) maybe we will just get Robin Pecknold as a solo act? This seems more likely to me, except for the fact that he is playing all over the PNW with Joanna Newsome at the end of March. l dunno... I feel like that usually would be a deal breaker. But with Pecknold being based in Seattle and Fleet Foxes being a long time gone, I can totally see it happening.

Now I just need the LCD reunion to be real and playing at Sasquatch because I will never forgive myself for not seeing them at the Gorge in 2010. That was a magical afternoon.

Speaking of... any of you cats seen the Cure recently? As in the past couple years? I feel like I have this conception of them being known for their longevity but i'm not exactly sure where that comes from... also: www.brooklynvegan.com/archives/2015/12/titus_andronicu_67.htmli'm not rly sure if those dates indicate anything, but I've been pulling for TA to play Squatchy for ohhhhh the last several so i'll go ahead and bang my drum. also Craig Finn played with the Hold Steady in 2010 but ain't been back for a spell

Not sure if they have any NW dates in the next few months but Brand New just announced a Canadian tour that starts June 2 in Vancouver. Definitely a possibility.

The Cure have been on my wishlist for ages. Would be bummed about missing Four Tet though. Speaking of... any of you cats seen the Cure recently? As in the past couple years? Also, did anyone see Titus Andronicus on their most recent tour?

I know Wonk saw Titus Andronicus. Not sure that he will come on here to tell about it though. I have very mixed feelings about that band. Haven't really been able to click with a record of theirs but people I know and trust with music taste all seem to rave about them in the live setting.
I also am not super familiar with The Cure's discography. Have heard some songs (probably more than I realize) and would def go to Four Tet and then catch whatever I can for the rest of The Cure's set if that happens.

CoS' reporting isn't the gold standard of journalism, and their report on LCD Soundsystem's impending live reunion hasn't been confirmed, but they claim Pearl Jam will headline Bonnaroo: consequenceofsound.net/2015/12/pearl-jam-to-headline-bonnaroo-2016/. I know a Bonnaroo headliner isn't necessarily a Sasquatch headliner and Pearl Jam is probably more popular in Washington than in Tennessee (so they could host their own event at the Gorge), but still, they might be playing an American festival, so anything is possible?

That same article also says Blood Orange appears likely for Bonnaroo, so let's go ahead and add him to our list of confirmations because I need that sexiness in my life.
