It seems Sasquatch has officially (via Facebook comment at least) upgraded the schedule status from soon to "verrrry soon". In past years, it seems it has always been ready by now (last year it came out on 3/31). I know it's been speculated before, but I feel like the only reason it's not out yet is that there is at least one big hole they are still trying to fill. Hopefully we will hear something about that verrrry soon.

"You can tell it's bullshit because Macklemore & Ryan Lewis are way too big to play Memorial Stadium" Solid reporting. They had the Weeknd last year. It's debatable which one is a bigger deal in Seattle though. Much like the Sasquatch lineup leak, the fact that I haven't seen anyone disprove a single act on there through tour dates or other means makes me think it's real. There might be a couple more bookings and billing tweaks, but for the most part I think this is what we're getting.

I so badly want it to be fake.

Its been stated that there are some notable typos, I.E. Barns Courtney being labeled as Barnes Courtney. If it's real it seems to fit the bill minus so more alternative centric acts, but if it's fake I wouldn't expect something radically different with probably some crossover from this to the official.

Cashmire Cat put his snapchat up on his Twitter and I decided to snap him asking if he was performing at Bumbershoot, he responded with a text reply saying "What is that?"

Here's some rampant speculation: What if a band was booked as an add after their own tour was announced? I mean, they'd definitely want to give themselves a chance to sell out their own show before announcing a festival (right?), so they'd wait as long as possible to announce Sasquatch, as to not compete with sales in Seattle. I bring this up because The Kills have a gap of two days between Salt Lake City and Vancouver, then Seattle. The name "The Kills" would also fit the ghost sail on the Sasquatch poster that did exist but now doesn't. They were 2nd line from the top on Coachella's poster and listed 7th on the Friday billing. So they have been festival ranked pretty high this year atleast once. Again, this is purely speculation because I'm getting pretty anxious to have the schedule in full, so I'm making stuff up to amuse myself. So in conclusion, The Kills as an add on the Sunday or Monday (which would mean the Uranus Stage would exist and have some of the smaller/local bands playing it, which would make room for adds on larger stages those days).

Seeing as they play Seattle June 1st I wouldn't count on it. Bummer too, because their Coachella webstream was pretty great.

If your reasoning for not counting on it is that they are playing a show within a few days of the fest at a place close to the Gorge, your reasoning doesn't hold water. There are at least four sail bands playing in Portland that same week and weekend, and imho having a sail worthy band in the neighborhood during the fest makes it at least a 50-50 shot on being a late add.

My reasoning absolutely holds water. Portland =/= Seattle. The radius clause wouldn't span that far. I would EXPECT most bands playing Sasquatch to have a Portland and Vancouver date before/after the festival, but Seattle? Not gonna happen.

Yeah, it is pretty common for Sasquatch artists to play Oregon near the festival, but very rarely do they play Seattle. The radius clause and the fact it is a festival curated by a pretty big Seattle event promoter. Even Spokane gets some of the Sasquatch artists.

Hung out with the dudes from Viet Cong a few weeks back, they're going to be on the lineup (with a new name, of course). Ooooh baby, thought my online reputation was at stake there.
