Yeah, on the most expensive and least impressive lineup in the history of the festival. Don't get me wrong, if I had the extra cash and time I'd be there. But money's tight, and this ain't worth it. Hot Chip is literally the only actual "must-see" for me that I haven't seen before. Most expensive, yes. That's not disputable. But least impressive? I have a hard time agreeing with that. With the exception of a few acts, I don't think 2011 or 2013 were anything super special besides a few acts, and, as I said, last year there were parts of days with literally nothing interesting. Nothing will ever beat 2010 though. That lineup was too good. We were spoiled. 2013 was phenomenal. Primus, Death Grips, Sigur Ros, CHVRCHES, Grimes, hell even Mumford put on a good show.

I'm sad that I'll never get another chance to see Ween at the Gorge.

I know everyone has different tastes, but I'm not sure what the beef is with this year's lineup. Robert Plant and Kendrick Lamar are to notch headliners in my book and I still believe "& More" is going to be a game changer. The only thing I see missing this year is that one "I can't believe we got..." electronic artist, like Gessaffelstien or Kraftwerk/Fuck Buttons (RIP Julysquatch hashtag Never Forget) from last year. To compare, the last couple years there have been about 10 or so acts that I was legitimately excited about when the lineup came out followed by a bunch more I discovered between then and the festival. This year, looking down the list, I already count 18 that I'm very excited about and I haven't even started researching the ones I haven't heard yet. I realize it is more expensive overall with camping not being included any more, but I am still excitebike as I've ever been for Sasquatch.

All day at work I listened to Little Dragon and talked myself in and out of buying a ticket.

Is this the year he played before Big Boi? I remember he was still fairly unknown, and still did great. Yes, it was that year. If it wasn't for Heart that would have been my favorite show of the weekend. Dude, I'm pretty sure Heart wasn't there that year. After reading this I thought I might have missed them, so I had to go find a poster for verification. That was the only time I made it into the arena that weekend. It seemed like way too big of a hassle to get in for any headliners unless you wanted to camp in there all day. Edit: Were Heart playing somewhere else that weekend? I kind of assumed you meant at Bumbershoot.

Sas is excellent with diversity and I think that's what made it stand out.

I decided to do some Research on past Fridays at Sasquatch.
2012- 18 artists booked 2013- 22 artists booked 2014- 38 artists booked(although since it was 3 days instead of 4 the festival day began earlier that year) 2015- only 13 artists booked (so far)
... I know that we have all talked about the "...and more" factor already, but these stats give me even more hope that there are still a lot of good things to come for Friday Sasquatch.

Am I the only person that finds almost nothing appealing about Little Dragon? You never cease to surprise me, my dude. I've often heard Little Dragon described as "dance music for people who don't like dance music", but never "not dance music for people who like dance music". They were fucking incredible in 2012.

How do you hear "Killing Me" without moving your booty though?

I was with kymess at their 2012 set, and afterward she turned to me and said "I didn't know you dance" to which I replied "me neither".

Nabuma Rubberband actually hasn't clicked with me quite as well as their other stuff. Paris has been stuck in my head all day though. That song and Precious.

Nabuma is a much more subtle album, and I like it more and more each time I hear it. I finally picked up the vinyl a couple weeks ago, which has taken shit to the proverbial next level.
Let Go's ma jamjam.
