The thing I'm actually most excited about at Sasquatch this year is how they pull off some of this stuff on stage.

Most expensive, yes. That's not disputable. But least impressive? I have a hard time agreeing with that. With the exception of a few acts, I don't think 2011 or 2013 were anything super special besides a few acts, and, as I said, last year there were parts of days with literally nothing interesting. Nothing will ever beat 2010 though. That lineup was too good. We were spoiled. 2011 and 2013 were both better than 2010, though. nah

2010 was my least favorite Sasquatch lineup. Oops.

As a Canadian this festival is financially impossible, especially with Pemberton and Squamish closer and taking the cheap ass CAD currency. Sorry Sasquatch, but I just can't do it this year. The lineup is pretty stellar, actually. I am confident Snacks will add some top notch artists to the lineup but fuuuuck, with the time off work + the cost of tickets and everything else, it's impossible.
But, you can't spend it when you're dead, right..
I think Will Butler is going to put out an amazing album. Just a prediction. I would love to see him rock the Main Stage in the afternoon.

Am I the only person that finds almost nothing appealing about Little Dragon? I'm shocked you don't dig! Maybe the studio recording isn't your jam but give this live recording a shot. Yukimi's range is ridiculous. youtu.be/7w-bS3Fjpyo

And on the topic of Little Dragon, I've never listened them before but I stumbled into their 2012 set in a corn chip fueled state and it was one of my favorite sets of the weekend. Don't know why I still haven't listened to them more. What's a good album to start with?

Speaking of super talented female vocalists, there's tons of em on the lineup this year. I believe there was some criticism about the lack of female artists at Sasquatch's before the lineup came out, so I was happy to see so many on there but then again they dropped the ball on the alpha female. Ugh, it still hurts.

But the newest, Nabuma Rubberband, is fantastic as well, one of my very favorites from last year.

would Snacks maybe, just maybe, give a number of how many more be added/when they will be announced? All he does is give and give

Also my goal is to convince Action Bronson to bring a moto cy kull and we both wear corn chip bandannas as we attempt to jump the main stage using the hill as a ramp.

I think Robert Plant was supposed to be the "must see" artist this year, but It's hard to get too excited over an old dude who is losing his voice. Not to be a debbie downer but at this point there is just no reason to see Robert Plant live other than being able to claim to have seen Robert Plant live.

Seeing Robert Plant live in 2015 is about as cool as it will be to see Paul McCartney in 2025.

I totally agree --- seeing Robert Plant this May at the Gorge will be almost as cool as seeing Paul McCartney in 10 years. That would be super cool... these old dudes rock. Save me a spot close to the front. Oh wait, you guys will be in the tent dancing to some guy with a laptop. Never mind.

Coming from someone who saw Willie Nelson last week I can understand the attraction of witnessing living legends. That said, I think they have there time and place. Headlining sasquatch is the wrong time and place for me and many others. Yes, I would rather be in the tent dancing. Or by Bigfoot rocking out. Not being put to sleep by an old dude with a thinning voice.

Honestly, this is a good enough reason for me. The man is a living legend who probably won't be around for many more years. We get the opportunity to see him preform at the most beautiful venue on the planet? I'll take it. Even if he can't hit the high notes like he used to, it will still be a honor.
