The presale is just early tickets right? No reduced price? You're correct.

Scrolling through my emails this morning, I received a total of 4 presale notices: LiveNation, Do206, 107.7 The End, and Red Bull Sound Select. The password I posted above is gir the LiveNation on, but if anyone has problems getting through let me know; I have other options.

Tickets obtained! The Live Nation password didn't work so I had to use the KEXP password instead.
I'm going to have to think hard before buying tickets next year though. While I really like the lineup, I'm not sure if it's worth $400+ with shipping and camping charges. (And I know it's going to cost more for you Canadians).

Hopefully the War on Drugs will be a little more exciting than they were at Block Party because that set straight up almost put me to sleep. You just don't understand character developement.

After spending a day and a half trying to convince myself that this lineup is worth the price of admission, I just can't do it. There are maybe 10 bands I'd like to see. I'm sure there are some hidden gems but I'd rather not spend $500 to wander around in discovery mode. Not to mention how difficult it would be convincing the other 4 squatchers I've gone with for the last 3 years.

The price they are charging is pretty insane. I've always been a little surprised by the amount they jack up the prices every year. 2011 was something like $285 for 4 days including camping? 2013 was $325 with camping if I remember correctly? Now we're at $350 and you have to buy camping separately? We're getting into Coachella prices now.
Coachella was $375 and $85 for camping. If you have 3 in a car that's $403 each and Sasquatch comes to $400. I know Sasquatch has the extra (half) day, but I really don't see Sasquatch in the same league as Coachella.

I get why they started charging for camping, but why did the ticket price also increase? The lineup looks about as big as it always has unless I'm really underestimating how much it costs to book Kendrick and Robert Plant.

Based on the day lineup on their website who do you think the late night acts are going to be? Seems like a lot of choices to me. Also do you think Ryan Adams is going to take the main stage before Kendrick or will it be saved for Tame Impala?

Kendrick is going to have y'all going bananas. Best crowd involvement I have ever seen at a show in the Key Arena was this dude. He did it all with no fucking hype men. Is this the year he played before Big Boi? I remember he was still fairly unknown, and still did great. Yes, it was that year. If it wasn't for Heart that would have been my favorite show of the weekend.

I don't want to break my run (been going since '09) but this is the first year where I don't have "that one" artist I have been dying to see (09: Animal Collective 10: Massive Attack/LCD Soundsystem 11: Ratatat 12: James Murphy 13: Sigur Ros/Death Grips/John Talabot 14: Gesaffelstein). Unless that "& More" is nxtlvl (see: BJORK) I feel like I'm just sticking to tradition. No doubt fun and with great music, but not necessarily worth the price.
I hate to ask, but do any of y'all know when Pemberton is announced?

Late night thoughts: Friday: Flume Saturday: Chromeo Sunday: SBTRKT Monday (if they have one): Hot Chip or The Glitch Mob I think Ryan Adams will get the main stage slot. The only time I can think of that someone billed that high played the Bigfoot was Vampire Weekend in 2013, and that just because they had to switch days because of Primavera. Tame Impaler will either play before him or headline the Bigfoot that night.

I think Robert Plant was supposed to be the "must see" artist this year, but It's hard to get too excited over an old dude who is losing his voice.

Ya it's true, a lot of these artists have played the festival before, and maybe a real "WOW" headliner is missing besides Robert Plant (though I'm still waiting on the &more), I feel like the dislike/apathy towards the lineup is unwarranted. The under-card and day part of the fest will probably be the best that Sasquatch has had been years, maybe ever. Last year, there were parts days where I was wandering and couldn't find anything good. This year, aside from Friday, I don't see how that would even be possible. Plus, last time Modest Mouse headlined, they were amazing. I think this year's lineup is really solid. I mean, HOT CHIP IS FINALLY PLAYING SASQUATCH

HOT CHIP IS FINALLY PLAYING SASQUATCH Yeah, on the most expensive and least impressive lineup in the history of the festival. Don't get me wrong, if I had the extra cash and time I'd be there. But money's tight, and this ain't worth it. Hot Chip is literally the only actual "must-see" for me that I haven't seen before.

Too bad they are a part of a largely unimpressive lineup. Someone said it before that there will be lots to see and hear during the afternoon, enough to keep you entertained anyway, but what will keep you going until 2 in the morning? They need exciting headliners that you look forward to every night.

I have a hard time agreeing with that. With the exception of a few acts, I don't think 2011 or 2013 were anything super special besides a few acts, and, as I said, last year there were parts of days with literally nothing interesting. Nothing will ever beat 2010 though. That lineup was too good. We were spoiled.
