Thanks to mrlahey for bringing this to our attention from the official Sasquatch website. Let's use this thread for further discussion and information regarding the 2012 festival.
New for 2012:
Patrons who purchase a 4-day festival ticket will be allowed re-entry from the Festival grounds! This will not apply to any other ticket, only the 4-day pass.
If you purchase the 4-day festival ticket, you will receive just one ticket that will be good for all four days. Keep your ticket in a safe place: tickets cannot be replaced.
Remember to take your ticket with you to the Festival. If you forget or lose your ticket, you will not be able to enter the camp ground or the festival. The Gorge Box Office will not be able to reissue tickets no matter what the reason.
When you arrive at the Gorge, 4-day ticket holders will be required to exchange their ticket for a 4-day wristband. Wristbands are non-transferable, non-exchangeable and cannot be replaced. They cannot be removed and must be worn all four days to allow entry. Please don't remove, stretch or tamper with your wristband in any way or you will not be allowed entry.

I just saw that! I gotta ask though, am I the only person who doesn't care about this? The walk from the campsite to the venue is enough as it is and I don't need to do more than twice a day

The walk from the campsite to the venue is enough as it is and I don't need to do more than twice a day I'm with ya man. Going back and fourth more than once doesn't seem worth it. If I went back, I would want to spend probably an hour sitting around eating and drinking. This seems less fun as in the morning though because way more people would be in the fest so there would be less going on. Best case scenario it takes 2 hours out of my day and I save a few bucks on beer and food. I would rather just see a few bands and possibly love the shit out of it (a la Matt and Kim last year) The only reason I would go back is if my smuggled booze got taken.

It's about fucking time.
I know most of you are like 'Whatever, I don't mind being forced to watch six consecutive bands that I don't care about', but this is extremely good news for me.

If they're indeed doing another 4 days I wonder if they've roped in another big name Friday headliner and throwing in a handful "who gives a fucks" to play before them.
Since I'm only unavailable for the festival on Saturday, I think dear old Pea may try to make it for Sunday and Monday. We shall see...

Why the fuck can't I see any of this? Everytime I go to the Sasquatch site it still shows the 2011 information and nothing about 2012. Am I missing something?

Apparently you're missing enough internet savvy or basic common sense to click on the "Tickets" tab.

Have you checked your Internet tubes lately? They might be clogged. Contact Google HQ and maybe they can send a guy out via the super highway to inspect your computer motors and thingy bobs.

I just hope the headliner they announce with the early-bird is big enough that the friends of mine who have been on the fence about making the pilgrimage will finally get their shit together and make Sasquatch 2012 a reality.

I'm really starting to wonder if the likes of Radiohead could be this year's "Foo Fighters Friday" band. They could literally be the only band on the bill that day and I doubt many people would complain. That way they could pay them whatever shit ton amount of money they charge per show, and guarantee a whole lot of early bird pass sales.
