In other news, four days is awesome. Bring your food, eat a lot of good protein in the morning, bring good, portable snacks in with you and lightweight layers for the cold night times. If you get up in the morning and start drinking DO NOT GO TAKE A NAP IN YOUR HOT TENT. I cannot tell you how many times I have seen this ruin a person. And that includes me. If you need to go pass out on the hill for a while inside then do that later in the day.
The early evening power nap during that band you couldn't care less about is so clut...uh...good. And as always, I'm going to go ahead and advocate for bringing in an extra pair of socks (if you're going to wear socks, that is). A fresh pair of socks at about 7pm will change your world.

Snarling Mapinguary Consistently Drunk Forgetter of Things
The cold weather gear at night is the only thing I could see myself using the re-entry for. It sucks lugging all that stuff around all day. If I could just fit all my snacks and water and junk in a big bag I would like that so much more than a packed backpack.
Let's all just stop posting whenever the site is down.
agreed. we seem to go through this at least three times a year. almost always it's resolved without anything new to report. perhaps we should try a new approach... only post something when the site has changed.
