I'm 22 and I can't sleep the night before Christmas. I didn't sleep for a week before Sasquatch.

Fuckin' right. I'm set on Coachella this year because I can't get enough of you assholes and frankly the curiosity is killing me, but I don't think I'd survive a calendar year without Sasquatch.

This. The lack of water stations/vendors that ran out and garbage/recycling bins at Sasquatch had me fuming. The amount if garbage lying around was disgusting. I had to tip a water vendor extra so he would leave the caps on because I wanted to spend the next few hours in the pit. I disagree about the lack of garbage bins. They were everywhere. People just can't be fucking bothered to throw their stuff away. You may be right. It might also be that the bins are easier to spot t coachella. Coachella also has workers picking up garbage throughout the day. I don't think i saw that at Sasquatch. Probably hard to get people to do that from a travel standpoint.

I'm buying my ticket right away here.. I'm wondering if I should buy a car companion pass just in case we end up with too many cars.. Anyone?

Not unless you have more cars than car camping passes. Sounds like most people aren't roadtripping it.

Souly, are you thinking of driving down from Edmonton? That's a long freaking drive. Or were you going to rent a car?

I drove to San Diego and back in September, it's about the same length, and I did that in two days.

Indio is about 2 1/2 hours northeast of San Diego, so if that's not bad for you then more power to ya!

For some reason I thought it was only 23 hours, not the 29 that google is telling me now. I may have to rent a car and fly.. but that is probably going to be sooo much more expensive. I've got a lot of time to plan this.
