Agreed, I hate lines. Maybe we should get an electronic/dance tent threat started?

I'd add Deerhoof and Cornelius to the discussion. They just added tour dates................ 5-08 Mexico City, Mexico - Lunario 05-09 Guadalajara, Mexico - Festival De Mayo 05-12 San Francisco, California - The Fillmore 05-13 Santa Cruz, California - Rio Theater 05-14 Los Angeles, California - Mayan Theater 05-16 Pomona, California - The Glasshouse Why does this make them more than likely?? You realize that this means they're heading SOUTH, right? flying from Mexico into SFO, then heading down towards LA..... wouldn't be surprised if they continued touring in Austin, then headed north. Yes, they're from Seattle, yes they have tour dates in May, but it just doesn't really make sense.

Deerhoof seem like a completely reasonable band for Sasquatch! and they happen to be touring in California mid-May, with no Northwest dates otherwise (as far as I've seen). As for my knowledge of Geography, yes, I have the ability to grasp a map and have sense of direction. I was simply stating, "Hey, look. A good band is on the West coast around the time of this festival. Maybe they will be there." I'm pretty sure the word "discussion" and the phrase "more than likely" have very different meanings.

Hey errbody. what do you guys think about Ben Lee being there. I think it would be just heartwarming. A 10 thousand person singalong to "We're all in this together".

While you are probably right, it's still certainly worth discussing. by the way, i don't think either of those bands are from seattle...deerhoof is from SF and cornelius is from japan. I called Cornelius over a month ago, which doesn't prove that I have any insider information, just mad internet searching skillz. I want to see Deerhoof though. Choo-choo-choo-choo-choo.

My god how is that an overreaction?? People on this board need to calm the fuck down, it's getting to be sooooo annoying. Like to the point that it makes me sick. Who wouldn't want Deerhoof to be there? And you're right, they are from San Francisco, my friend made a very convincing argument that they were from Seattle while I was writing the above note. Beyond they point though, maybe they'll be there, that'd be cool, I was just saying that it wasn't very logical.

Everyone goes "apeshit" because we're all a bunch of whiny Northwest babies! To be honest, I didn't think I was going apeshit, just defending my point. I like Deerhoof and they'd be cool to see. I think it's a fairly reasonable assumption that they could possibly be there. If I said anything egotistical, I must have missed it. I'm not trying to make enemies, I'm trying to make friends that I can party with at the campgrounds. Sorry if it sounded dick-headish in any way.

The double question mark does not mean overreaction, it means that's how I generally use ?s and !s in conversational messaging. By the way, wikipedia is a horrible example of where to get information from, I mean seriously?? You're trying to convince me that wikipedia knows more than any other person?? Oh and by the way, people make mistakes all the time, you need to calm down. Oh, and I nor my friend smoke weed, so the conversation didn't go "no dude, I know my shit way better than wikipedia." For someone who's username is interstateeight, I expected you to be a lot cooler.

You guys need to stop. It's the Sasquatch line-up page, not the obsess about quotation page.
Can the 17th hurry up and get here? I want to know the actual line-up so I can start convincing all my friends to come along this year!

this is gonna be my first Sasquatch, although I've really wanted to go since 06. Some of the names tossed around really appeal to me.
Ben Folds playing there would be awesome. I saw him last May in Spokane. He really puts on a great live show.
Ben Lee is another one. Saw him...at the same show I saw Ben Folds. Again, puts on a great live show.
Ray Lamontagne would be great. If you've never heard him before, go to Youtube and type in 'Ray Lamontagne Abbey Road" and watch the long video of him performing 'Trouble' and 'Jolene'. You can skip over his talking bits, but his performances are downright amazing.
The Decemberists being all but 100% confirmed is awesome, as they're my current favorite band right now. Can't wait for their album to drop(March 24th) and to see them play. Its always been a goal of mine, but could never do it.
I don't think this band has been talked about at all, but I'd love to see the Zutons play, but I doubt it. They only have 1 day announced all year, and that's in August. but that would be awesome.
