On topic, I really want to see Snow Patrol anyone think that it is a possibility? I would honestly loathe to see snow patrol at Sasquatch this year. How about something like Friday Pearl Jam Sub/ KOL Saturday David Bowie Sub/ Arcade Fire Sunday Radiohead Sub/ Explosions in the Sky (OR) MBV How awesome would that be??? Prolly very unlikely, but that would be the happiest weekend of my life. How about aswell we throw in Cloud Cult, Bon Iver, Beirut (at a later time, it was criminal to have them play such a short set last year!) Dan Le Sac Vs. Scroobius Pip and The Swell Season too?

Lofty dreams my friend, but I wouldn't mind seeing it happen. But if PJ is there, I would imagine that they would close on Monday.

I do believe Beirut will be back again this year.

Wow, lofty dreams would be an understatement. If any festival is able to land David Bowie, it would be an accomplishment. Add two of the biggest headliners over the last couple years, Radiohead and Pearl Jam, AND Arcade Fire. I know, it is fun to speculate.
I wouldn't "loathe" Snow Patrol being there. I would definitely be at a different stage. I wouldn't go see them live again if a free ticket was offered, but there is no reason why they couldn't appeal to many festival attendees.
I think Beirut is highly unlikely, although I would be there regardless of conflicts (other than Animal Collective).

I was just told the headliners today by someone who knows. I know many people say that so it will be doubted. Oh well. I promised I wouldn't say who they were but I will say that the guesses on here are much closer than the frenzy of internet noize that was the Coachella Board leading up to their announcement.
I will also say: no radiohead, no pearl jam, no no doubt
I can't find the post by 'felix' that people are referring to but he is correct: two repeat headliners and a reunion band. I was also told Kings of Leon and that one is pretty established from other sources so I don't mind saying that. The last name I was told was not a headliner but, as I said on the Sasquatch blog today, will be more like Kanye was in 2005. Different vibe by a well known name.
I'm just finding it interesting how this all looks when (for the first time) I know who the top names are and others are trying to piece it together (and generally doing a pretty good job).

You guys need to stop. It's the Sasquatch line-up page, not the obsess about quotation page. Can the 17th hurry up and get here? I want to know the actual line-up so I can start convincing all my friends to come along this year! funny story, I said something along those lines earlier and someone blew up on me. I am not trying to be mean to you just so you know, a lot of people on this blog are quite the overreactors, so just letting you know. What I really wanted to say was, I totally agree. I'm sick and tired of this blog, I just want to know who the lineup is. Furthermore, after my experience this year on this messageboard, I have promised that I won't even get involved until the 2010 lineup is posted 'cause it's useless to have try and have an opinion on this thing. Just 4 more days though!!

As skeptical as I am to believe these people with supposed "inside information" I do tend to believe you on this one. Especially since it's not the first person to say this, and you aren't giving specific names. The only possibilities for repeat headliners (ruling out String Cheese Incident, Coldplay, The Postal Service, Pixes, The Cure, R.E.M., Bjork) are Beck, Ben Harper, NIN, Beastie Boys, or The Flaming Lips. I can't see the Flaming Lips headlining again after last year. My best guesses would be NIN and Ben Harper since they both have a lot of new material since their last appearances (though it seems strange to have 2 repeat headliners from the same year). I don't really see Beasties coming back again so soon. I really hope Beck is one of them, but I doubt it since he headlined Bumbershoot in September. As for the "one like Kanye in '05", my best guess would be Snoop Dogg, but who knows? I'm having a hard time guessing this supposed reunion headliner... Jane's Addiction? Pavement is unlikely. Does MBV count? Blur? It's gonna be a loooong 4 days.

Hey cc, I just posted a nearly identical comment in the headliners thread, since this is more of a headliner topic. I like your thought on Snoop being the Kanye West, although now that I think of it, Public Enemy might be Kanye, instead of Lupe Fiasco, who I tabbed in the headliners thread.

I'll give you this: it's not PE but the 'Kanye' replacement is also playing Bonnaroo. I'm not going to comment on the headliners anymore.

Ok, offyerhead, you just lost credibility. I like the fact that you can form a complete sentence without abveous typeoes. But there comes a time when people have to ignore the "I know everything, and I'll give you over the top hints."
You basically just said Snoop will play the Kanye spot. If Snoop played Sasquatch, he would be one of the higher billed, not in the sub-sub-sub headliner spot. If you are right, you are underestimating the Kanye spot.

Ant chance that it could be blink 182 as the reunion band coming to Sasquatch?

If Snoop is who he's talking about, I really can't see that happening at Sasquatch! He doesn't seem to fit in there at all. Unless they are taking a whole other direction with this festival. If this Kanye-like performer is true (no offense, but I'm having a hard time believing anything on a message board unless it has a legitimate source). The closest artist to him at Roo, in my opinion, would be Santogold.......... I mean Santigold.

It's not Snoop or Santi but I knew the Bonnaroo hint would lead to those guesses! Maybe I'm not seeing the Kanye vibe the same way that others did but oh well. No more clues. It's only a few days away now anyways.
