Please tell me you have like a Creole accent, Friendly D. It would all fit wouldn't it? Also your sig is GREAT! I've been away from the board lately so I don't know where it's from, but it is a very excellent pick.

Oh man it is sent and I am so excited for you. HG and I are constantly quoting this and have fallen asleep to it so many times it just lives in our brains. But we only have one other friend who can grasp the true awesomeness of it. And now you are going to watch it and it will be so great.

You guys have Family Day too? Or y'all just cultured like that?
Plus to keep things somewhat relevant, we made 6 pizzas like the one I posted, hence why I haven't been able to move and get myself home yet.

We do not have Family Day. It actually ends up being on President's Day over here. And you only get that off if you are in school or a government employee.
I like to make a pizza with red sauce with a bit of a kick (homemade), lots of minced garlic, spinach, basil, sliced tomatoes, feta cheese, and a little bit of mozzerella to hold it together. It is a copycat of a pizza called the Grace Slick that we can no longer buy.

I can put either basil or cilantro on most anything. Love it.

Catherine, That's very generous of you to offer, but you don't need to worry about it, I'll be good and happy with my citranger.ca Sasquatch t-shirt I was actually fortunate enough to get put up by my employer at a downtown hotel. But when everything closed at about 9pm downtown, we were told to take a taxi towards Southside (I believe was what they called it). Unfortunately it was just as dead there, but looked like a great neighborhood with a lot of character. Interesting story - on the way back to the hotel from Carson Street, we quickly found out our cab driver moonlighted as a pimp. He turned of the meter off and made a couple of quick 'stops' en route to make sure his 'staff' was holding up okay. That's something you'd never see in Vancouver. Yeah, East Carson Street gets crazy on the weekends. I call it amateur night. A bunch of Pittsburgh style guidos and scantly clad slutty girls prance around the streets and go bar hopping. We try to avoid going out then. Carson Street has a lot to offer, so I'm glad you checked it out. If you blow through Pittsburgh again, try out The Library, Claddagh, or Piper's Pub. Those are our stomping grounds. The cab story cracks me up. It certainly doesn't surprise me! There are some sketchy characters roaming around that silly town.

My favorite dish is by far my mother's Shepherds Pie, nothing makes me feel happier in my tummy than that mixture of mashed potatoes, ground beef, onions, peas, carrots, and spice that she mixes so well. (not actual photo of my mom's) My mom is the cooolest.

I've been at my parents for the Alberta long weekend and can not wait to get home! Sorry to disrupt the thread, but I just wanted to clear up that I was referring to wanting to be home to receive a much anticipated package, not get away from my family. I love all those crazy nuts and have a blast hanging out with them. K done.

A good Shepard's Pie trick is drizzling the ground beef grease on the top of the potatoes after all is assembled to let it flavor and crisp up the the top layer in the oven.
