Agree with Fool's Gold...but it seemed like every song had the same guitar riff. Still, surprisingly good.
Neon Indian was incredible...I had no idea.
Fruit Bats- These guys are up and comers. Really good set, but not many saw it because it was against LCD Soundsystem.
Mountain Goats- Didn't really know what to expect, but was treated to a full sound. Good surprise.

1. Neon Indian- Was everyone suffering through that godawful MGMT set? Neon Indian KILLED it.
2. MMJ- Always bringin' it live.
3. Fruit Bats- Another one I'm surprised to see no one else buzz about.
4. Mountain Goats- Surprisingly good, I was impressed.
5. Ween- Much better closer than last year's Ben Harper snoozefest.

Anyone turning this into a road trip?
I'd be more than willing to cough up my share of gas money for a ride. Am meeting friends once there, so I promise not to step on your toes once we make it to the Gorge. ;D

1. M83- Wow, amazing! They'd break every song down and rebuild it until everyone was dancing in a frenzy. One of those sets where you just smiled the entire time. Very fun.
2. Explosions in the Sky- Beautiful
3. Of Montreal- How wild was that show?
4. Mt. St. Helens Vietnam Band- Didn't know what to expect, and didn't love much of their recorded stuff beforehand. They were a blast, had good songs and brought a lot of energy.
5. BLK JKS- Wish they would've been able to figure out their sound problems quicker. Very interesting and unique sound.
6. Monotonix- See #3

I'd love to be able to hitch a ride with someone driving through Spokane on Friday (Sasquatch Eve) that has some extra room to spare. I'll throw down some $$ to help you with Gorge camping expenses, but am meeting with friends so you can have the site to yourselves.

I was wondering about this also. I'm coming from Spokane and meeting someone coming from Portland. I'm just going to be parked from Fri- early Mon if that's any help. I'm open to any suggestions. Thanks!

They're a mess live. Still, count on them to draw one of the largest crowds of the fest if they play. I didn't think they were that bad when I saw them. At least they had energy, which is more than I can say for a lot of bands out there.

going regardless, and other than that (although all doubtfull) Teal leaf Green Galactic Lotus While generally not Sasquatch's type of genre, Tea Leaf Green would be sick. I'd be all over that!

What they need to do is stick Ghostland on the mainstage AFTER the headliner. Give a little late night treat to groove to before returning to camp!

I guess everyone on here must be from seattle or washington because I don't see any other way these people could get stoked on Pear Jam? Pearl Jam is lame especially considering this isn't 1992'. And kings of leon I want to see a rock n roll show not a yuppie jam fest with parents who drive there range rovers down to stand around with their kids in a baby bjorn. Mines well have dave Matthew's and coldplay. I went last year and got to see cedric from the mars volta throw a cymbal and fan into the audience. Once I saw that theres no going back they better spice up this line up. Animal collective would be amazing even though they are very hit or miss live. mgmt would good. arcade fire would be classic, franz ferdinan would be good. hell even bring back the hives. Could be about the most outrageous post I've seen. I can agree that to each his own in regards to music, but to say Pearl Jam isn't relevant in today's music scene is blasphemy. Try picking up something they released after Ten and get back to me. Pearl Jam is probably one of the top 10 live acts in music right now.

And is there a precedent to Sonic Youth playing a US festival? Has to be, right? As they'll be back from overseas, and as that'd be great, I'd like to introduce the completely self-fabricated but ideal potential of Boston Spaceships/pre-headliner/Sonic Youth. That's just my personal wish, though. I know they played Bonnaroo 2 or 3 years ago...so it's possible.

I think a good late night show or two, on two of the nights is the main thing Sasquatch is missing. I guess the problem is that not enough people camp onsite and would end up missing it, so they wouldn't think it to be justifiable. I know the night shows are always some of the most fun at Bonnaroo, but it would seemingly be nicer at S'quatch...(less neighbors to pay off, shorter return walk to the campground, lower temps/humidity in the morning to allow you to catch up on sleep, etc).

Assuming the leaked schedule is legit, what bands are you hitting? I realize it's a bit ambitious, but If I went right now my plan would look like this- Friday- Upright Citizen's Brigade -> Beirut/The Whigs -> Kathleen Edwards -> The National -> New Pornos -> Okkervil River -> The Breeders -> REM Saturday- What Made Milwaukee Famous -> J Tillman -> Cold War Kids -> Tegan & Sara/Rogue Wave -> Mates of State -> The Kooks -> Malkmus -> The Cure Sunday- Yeasayer -> Matt Costa -> The Hives -> Built to Spill -> Rod Y Gab -> Battles -> Jamie Lidell -> Ghostland/FLips

For real? Even since they're not really chairs and they go directly on the ground? That kind of irks me...
(Live in the apts on top of Sunset Hill...you?)

Does anyone remember seeing anyone in the past with them? I'd assume they're allowed at the Gorge...but wasn't for sure, and didn't see anything specific about it on the Sasquatch site.
It would sure be nice!

So does anyone remember in the past about when the official schedule is unveiled? Wish I knew my possible conflicts sooner than later...
