For those who didn't click on the link, MGMT also looks to be out for Julysquatch because of that festival. Didn't include that because gab already eliminated them.

In the realm of realistic expectations, I would love a Deerhunter confirmation ... Missed them in 2011, and have regretted it ever since.

They were definitely rad in 2010 (that night will go down in history for me, by ending with that MMJ show), but I'm not sure I'd consider The National being booked all that huge a fish! Even if they're a subheadliner (which I think is the likely scenario) it's still a much bigger confirmation than we should reasonably expect to have at this point. Usually we'll only get bands on the lower half of the poster, with only a few notable exceptions.

The only thing that makes MGMT a bit unlikely in my mind is that they headlined Bumbershoot last year. In general, there's very little overlap between the two festivals for a year in either direction.
Or, perhaps this is just wishful thinking on my part because they're terrible live and would be a waste of a subheadliner spot on the poster.

Outkast and/or The Knife would guarantee my attendance if confirmed for Maysquatch ...

I would imagine that an appearance by The Dead Weather seems more likely, but I would definitely not be upset with another solo set from Mr. White on the main stage ...

They effectively co-headlined last year ... No way they play again.

They would be a pretty stellar early evening Banana Shack set. Now, if we could just get Chromatics on the Bigfoot ...
