My group is planning on using dry ice this year and would rather not transport it from Vancouver Island. We always stop in Ellensburg for our groceries and I was wondering if there are any places to get dry ice there!
Google says Safeway has it but I don't recall them having it previous years. Has anyone getting any there before?
Thanks!

Thanks for the offer. Rather sell the lot as a package. Cheers. I've posted this package at $1050 CDN in Nelson, so if you're interested let me know. I'm only interested in the premier pass so if you have no luck selling as a package PLEASE let me know!!

I'll purchase your premier pass for face value.

If I understand the rules of premier camping, you can have up to 6 people per site, so if your friends number 4 or less, you don't need another pass. However, like others here, I would recommend staying in the general camping district. There is a hole in the energy locus directly over premier and gold camping, so you will only get spillover effect from the galactic radiation causing the center of the universe phenomena. We have 13 of us going and our vehicles only hold 5 people each. They wouldn't give us a sixth wristband for a friend would they?

So my friends got too excited about Sasquatch and accidentally bought a general camping pass instead of a premier camping pass like the rest of the group. Premier camping is now sold out so we're looking to trade with someone or straight up just buy a premier camping pass from someone who's selling.
If anyone knows someone who is selling or looking to trade, please message me. Any help is appreciated!

When I called Ticketmaster yesterday the lady told me that Livenation was doing a mass refund for the event but didn't know any information about when.

I was actually going to ask a similar question so this is pretty handy.
We have a friend who is taking his own vehicle and buying a parking pass, but wants to camp with us in premier. Would it be better to get him to park his vehicle, then squish into ours to get the premier wristband or to try and swindle an extra wristband from a yellow shirt?

food!

Speaking of food, this Globe and Mail blurb made me giggle. We're such food snobs in Victoria that our festival's food lineup is almost as hotly anticipated as the music! "In Victoria this September, the Rifflandia Festival, which is ostensibly built around top bands like The Flaming Lips and Sloan, will also feature a mobile brick pizza oven, a southern barbecue “Pigmobile,” a charcuterie vendor, a Polish delicatessen truck that sells grilled cheese sandwiches stuffed with pierogies and a company that does Central American paletas – frozen, crazy-flavoured fruit pops. The festival is going so far as to announce its food lineup one month ahead of time in a live radio event. “Not only do you know in advance what bands you’re going to see at what time, but you know what food you’re going to be eating,” said Nick Blasko, the festival’s director." If I decide to go to Rifflandia this year, oh man that's going to be some delicious food! The only thing I ate at the festival that I actually enjoyed were the caesar wraps.

Some douchebag from Washington told us to take the I-5 all the way to Sasquatch, and then when we got separated from our friends with the GPS we thought "oh okay that guy said this will work so lets do this" Yeah. WE DROVE ALL THE WAY TO TACOMA! And I accidentally stole maps from a convenient store because I legit thought they were free (they were $8 each. I stole two.) Fuck it though, got us to the Safeway in Ellensburg where we met up with the rest of our festival gang. To be fair, we use this trick to defend our homeland against the all too trusting annual Canadian Invasion. Someday you guys might want to try and take Washington back. Understandable then! I guess I'd be a tad nervous about us too.

So first Sasquatch was an UNBELIEVABLE SUCCESS!!!! The very first day my festival fam and I decided we're doing this every. single. year. from now on! It was sooo much better than I could have even imagined. All of the people were incredible! Everyone was so nice and friendly, and the atmosphere was fucking awesome.
I didn't go out and meet any of you, but if anyone came by the campsite with the flag that had a red 250 on it, that was my group! We met so many people because of that damn flag. Using your area code is a great idea lol

A friend was really drunk before Beirut started, and we were trying to get into the inner pit. Well he decided to "look for his mom up front" and started yelling "MY MOM SHE'S UP THERE SHE'S SCARED I NEED TO GET HER MY MOM MY MOM I NEED TO GO UP FRONT MY MOM!" When nobody would let him past, he started playing rock paper scissors with everyone to trade spots with them!
We finally got into the inner pit and there he goes again with the "mom" thing. This time people are just lettin' him go because he's so drunk. As he got closer to the front, every 5 feet we would see a group of heads turn, and what looked like another rock paper scissors game, and on he would go.
Eventually someone pointed him out to security and he got lifted out. Buuuut not before he played rock paper scissors with security first, and lost.
I didn't see him at the festival after that happened

Yay I have internet again! All I can think of right now is: I bought a poster and Felix Cartal tshirt from merch on the last day. Came to $40. Handed the woman a $50. She gives me $15 back. SCORE!

Well the panic has left me and the excitement is finally kicking in!! We leave tomorrow morning at 8am to start our adventure. I'm 90% packed and ready to go, just have to do some last minute things today and then I can relax!
Saturday is going to be the best day for me too. It has the most sets that I'm excited for! I agree that Sunday is lacking. Nothing that I really want to see is playing until 5 so it's going to be a lot of exploring until then!
