I have a hard time believing Kendrick was lame. Got a couple of votes for the absolutely killed it end of the spectrum and one for the lame end. Anybody else have thoughts? I am curious because I will be seeing him headline in Vegas at the end of September. Not that it will change how I feel going into it but I am just wondering what the rest of you boarders thought of his set.

Glad you liked it Blacksmile! I was trying to find tracks you didn't already have. Hope there weren't too many overlaps for you. That Wild Throne EP is worth purchasing. It is only three tracks but they are all killer. It is also worth going back to their Dog Shredder days and checking out Brass Tactics. I have been seeing Wild Throne posting tid bits about their upcoming full length. That is going to be insanely good.

Just found out that Gaytheist is playing at The Narwhal tonight on Capital Hill. WISH I COULD GO. They will be slinging their new EP with Baby Gurl in cassette form. It is tour edition only. If anybody goes and wants to snag an extra one I wouldn't be mad

Anybody down in San Diego?? There is a sweet special release at Alesmith. Originally a faint idea dreamt up by Tony Gwynn and Peter Zien, the now imperial version of their collaboration, San Diego Pale Ale .394, will make an appearance in our 20th Anniversary Specialty Release Series. All proceeds from this beer will go towards raising funds for the Tony Gwynn Museum which will honor this hall of famer and raise money for TAG (Tony & Alicia Gwynn Foundation) at AleSmith's new facility.
HALL OF FAME IMPERIAL SAN DIEGO PALE ALE .394 (ABV 9%)
AleSmith's Hall of Fame version of the legendary Tony Gwynn .394 San Diego Pale Ale pays tribute to the one and only Mr. Padre and his commitment to excellence. Just like its predecessor, this "imperial" or "double" .394 is bursting with even more American hops, lending the beer a diverse palate of citrus, tropical fruit, and pine. Tony envisioned this beer in early 2014 and AleSmith is honored to make another one of his dreams come true.
"Tony Gwynn was incredibly proud to be a member of the San Diego community; he impacted lives all over the world. He was the heart, soul, and flavor of San Diego for so many years and now you can taste his passion with every sip." - Alicia Gwynnwww.brownpapertickets.com/event/1443609

You should head down to Calgary for Sled Island. They're playing the main stage on the Saturday with Drive Like Jehu, Viet Cong and Ex Hex. Also - Gaytheist at Palomino on June 18th. Finally my chance to see them! Dude, I wish I could go to Sled Island. That is in my top two favorite festival lineups so far this year (Levitation is the other). Not in the cards for me though. Gaytheist makes me smile all the time. You are going to have so much fun. It is a music show with a comedy show between songs (Jason, the guitarist/vocalist is hilarious). I think I am going to spin some Gaytheist today now that I think about it. HAPPY FRIDAY Y'ALL!
