I'm going to be extra aware when I'm enjoying Tune-Yards that no boarders are watching me do so, or I'll ruin the cred I never had.
Whoops. Aw who cares, I already ruined it with Pavement.

That sounds half exciting/half frightening. BTC 'gon pop out of a shady lane, and I'm gonna be all like, "Oh my god! Oh my god! Oh my god! Oh my god! Oh his god! Oh her god!"
Welcome!

Unfortunately the most delicious BBQ place in South Carolina is also the most racist business ever. (Literally, the last time I walked into one there was a whole table of white power propaganda right inside the front door.)
Maybe that's why delicious BBQ never made it out of the south.

They're actually making a little movie of it soon. It's in production right now.

Count me in for the Beardyman meet up! It's the time of year when I start playing one of my favorite games: WHO'S THE NARC? Basically there's always eight to ten people with only a handful of posts who seem REALLY intent on finding us all in the same place at the same time, and I just HAVE to assume that at LEAST one of them is goin for a bust. This year's front-runners: danl46, xcrunner, mermaid, Lumpy. Fuck.

My goodness, I can't stop laughing as I read this thread. Imagining these things being said by Bill, Ted, and Spicoli is fucking priceless.

Amen to that, bro. Look at us: Goodness knows we will party down for Pretty Lights and Feed Me of course, though. Possibly James Murphy too considering whether my mood/energy level constitutes that or Bon Iver.

Don't remember what I had before but:
1. Beck 2. Unknown Mortal Orchestra 3. Todd Barry 4. Explosions in the Sky 5. St. Vincent 6. Mogwai 7. Wild Flag 8. Tune-Yards 9. Jack White 10. Nick Kroll
Yeah, that sounds right.

Looks like this gives us a good idea of what Unknown Mortal Orchestra sounds like when not shrouded in their AM production. I like what I hear. That drummer is great. www.daytrotter.com/#!/concert/unknown-mortal-orchestra/20054943-3738494&playerLoadAndPlayTrack=49058702&legacyUser

Fun related story, me and a friend are actually talking about doing a Hopscotch-esque festival in Charleston, but it would be kind of a non-profit thing that mostly focuses on local talent and getting music foundations to fund it. I assume what everyone's talking about here is probably more of a straight-up business music festival though.
