Beck is going to absolutely be the best performance of the entire weekend. Very excited to see this happen!

I'm afraid not, man. Is he a speculation enthusiast around here as well? Nah he's a goofy dude from rural Washington who posted like a zillion times a day while he was here. He was a harmless little fuck. Anyway, I think that high desert region probably just makes people a little bit funny. Ha ha, well thanks for your Eastern Washington theories. I'm not trying to progress this forum any faster than what you guys want it to be, and I'll quit with the more random remarks on that note.

Anyone else mildly suspicious that esrever might be J. Walter Weatherman in disguise? I'm afraid not, man. Is he a speculation enthusiast around here as well?

Oh come on now.....where's our enthusiastic optimism!? Gorillaz would be such a great live show at Sasquatch, but sadly you guys are more than likely right. We would probably have a better chance at Blur over Gorillaz, which would still be pretty sweet.

Haha, Bumbershoot's lineup this year does seem to be a bit out in left field and catered more towards the indie crowd than in years passed. I think Sasquatch's success in the past few years might have something to do with that for sure because Bumbershoot usually pulls in bigger headliners than what they billed for this year.
Seattle is like a 2nd home to me and Bumbershoot is always a blast regardless of the lineup; exactly in the same sense as Sasquatch.

I'm heading to Bumbershoot this year and they just added Doug Benson and Mad Rad to the lineup this week! So fucking excited that they added DB since Sasquatch was a bust.
HG you should make your way up to Seattle for Bumbershoot. It's shaping up to be one hell of a year.

Switch posted an article on FB about a girl that was found dead in her tent this year at Bonnaroo. Anyone hear about this or know any updates? Apparently it was a 32 year old woman and nobody knew a damn thing. They say they are awaiting toxicology reports to determine the cause. My guess is something along the lines of hyperthermia, but who knows. There was also a 24 year old guy who was found dead as well and they determined it was for sure hyperthermia that caused it. When will the youth learn that if you take drugs.....FUCKING DRINK WATER! Especially with temperatures like that.

They had a wicked good comedy lineup that year, too (and they haven't really since). This and this. It seems like they have been sacrificing comedy acts in favor of EDM now. In a way I guess I'm not complaining, but I am still a huge stand-up comedy fan so it is a little disappointing for sure. Doug Benson was actually booked for last year, but he had to cancel the last minute because of scheduling conflicts. Man, I was pissed about that.

what happened to the misting tent? They had one one year but I don't think I've seen it since Definitely could have used one of these at Sasquatch 2009. That year was like 90+ every damn day and shade was nowhere to be found except for the comedy tent (back when it had a normal name), but it was insanely packed all day long because everyone was trying to cool themselves off and to just get out of the blistering sun for a while. I was surprised we didn't see any more hyperthermia incidents that year like Bonnaroo this year....fuck it looked hot and humid there!

Do NOT miss a chance to see Ghostland. Also, drugs. Alright, I'm sold, and buying tickets now! In all honesty before they released the Sasquatch 2011 schedule I was really holding out for Ghostland to be on the lineup; my hopes were crushed when I learned they weren't. But I figured it would only be a matter of time before they were heading back to Seattle again. I don't know much about The Head & The Heart and I never caught them at Sasquatch but they are opening for Ghostland and they are a local Seattle band so I plan to catch at least part of their set as well.

they finnaly got some more people up there for the last night but at that point it was already to late. You think? That's really pointless considering Monday was the day security didn't give a fuck the most. It all makes sense now that you mentioned that you hire out to CWU because do you really think those guys care for other people's well being or belongings (doubt it), they would mostly be in it for the power trips I would assume, hence why you get some security guards that take their job entirely way too seriously like you stated.

the company hired some of the CWU football players (i think 11 of them) and they promised to pull double shifts all weekend and after the first day they all gave up and went home I'm really not too surprised that the CWU bros did this. They probably never went home and just got engulfed by the campground madness.

Yeah, I don't think I've heard any negative remarks when it comes to their live shows and I've been a big fan for a while now so I have to check them out. It will be a fun time because Ghostland is July 22nd and then I'm right back to The Gorge on July 30th for Soundgarden. July is shaping up to be one hell of a month.

If it isn't broken then it's just severely fucked up. There has been so many times I thought I've broken a toe and it just turns out to be a severe sprain, but man do toe injury's fucking hurt! Was it on the same leg that you injured at Sasquatch?

The Crystal Method - Vegas +1 and still by far the best album they have ever released IMO. I agree completely. I had this playing at Sasquatch Thursday night to start things out right and it was actually pretty entertaining how many people would recognize the album as they walked by. Bad Stone always has been one of my favorite tracks from Vegas and it reminds me of something straight out of an old Metroid game.
