I turned about ten common words into quotes from 90s comedies. Short of, like, turning everyone's avatars to pictures of puppies, I can't think of a more joy-spreading way to tinker with the board. What I'm curious about, for Pea and fig and any other posters who are upset about it, is whether you thought the s would stay in place forever. Were you upset because you thought you'd never get to say "have" again on the board? Or was the prospect of just one single post looking ridiculous such an egregious violation of your right to comment on Wilco that you couldn't tolerate it anymore?

On the long list of shit I've done on/to this board, I never thought "hilarious 90s comedy word filters" would chase any regulars away. Tonight I learned something!

Half that, half "I like to warn people before I start deleting their posts." I obviously made an exception for you and Pea but that was funny. Otherwise, take the short rumors thread -- I told everyone I'd delete non-essential posts there and I have been. And we've all been cool about it.

The next time I see a discussion about how radius clauses work I'm deleting all the posts. You are all officially on notice.

I just skimmed the 2007 list because I sort of agree with Pea (that album was not the best of 2007) and I sort of disagree with Pea (that album is shitty). Some good shit from that year.

This thread got me thinking, and now I'm curious, so I'm going to look up every Top Album of the Year for the last decade from cbats' favorite website. Even if they all turn out to be good choices, I'm going to post the results:
2010: Kanye West - My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy 2009: Animal Collective - Merriweather Post Pavilion 2008: Fleet Foxes - Sun Giant EP/Fleet Foxes 2007: Panda Bear - Person Pitch 2006: The Knife - Silent Shout 2005: Sufjan Stevens - Illinois 2004: The Arcade Fire - Funeral 2003: The Rapture - Echoes 2002: Interpol - Turn on the Bright Lights 2001: Microphones - The Glow, Pt. 2 2000: Radiohead - Kid A

The free market would allow scalping on this board. As a demonstration of the board's free market policy I've just deleted two posts.

Locking that thread was a bad idea. Cbats is right, it would have been a lot more fun than any other active Sasquatch related thread right now. You cared enough to come to its defense. It's just a fucking thread.

I've been away for a few days but I just took a look at that thread, and then I came to this thread, and I would urge everyone to go read that thread start to finish (should take you about forty seconds) and then tell me it was worth saving with a straight face.
