In my reverse thread reading, I fell upon this gem. LOVE Cameron Crowe. Say Anything and Almost Famous are in my Top 5. i prefer Say Anything to Almost Famous. EDIT: have you seen 'Singles?' Just finished watching it, and it definitely made me wish I'd been that age during that time. It's kind of funny, I heard about the "door test" -in which the guy waits to see if the girl sitting in the passenger seat of his car leans over to unlock his door or not- ages ago from an ex, but didn't realize it was from this movie.

Is anyone headed for Lollapalooza this year? As seems to be the trend of this year's music fests, their early bird tickets sold in a matter of minutes. I'm considering going, but I really would have to look at cost of travel + lodging to see if it's worth the trek.

I gave up chick-fil-a when I moved to Portland.

. Sometimes I have to turn the ignorance factor on because otherwise, I wouldn't shop anywhere. Unfortunately, there's one thing I cannot forgive them for, and that's being closed on Sundays. I had a layover in the Atlanta airport on my way to Europe last summer and was PUMPED for some chick-fil-a. I walked up, saw the dreaded sign, and left with some very disappointed taste buds.

I think they're opening a US online store in the fall/ probably early 2012. Right now they've only got one for their European countries to my knowledge.

Though the clothes are disposable and can work as festival threads, there are plenty of other places to nab some cute/cheap dresses. H&M, Old Navy, thrift stores, Plato's Closet, etc. H&M! I just got a few skirts there this weekend for less than $30! ...and yes, yes it does.

pvmtchiic, your sig reminded me of these wonderful Toms I got emailed about the other day. I was pretty set on not buying new shoes, but my roommate just got some, and when it comes to shopping I'm awful at peer pressure.

I don't know, for some reason I just can't really get into the whole maxi dress trend. It strikes me as something my mom would wear and I'm just not ready to make that leap yet. Like Stormy, I'd rather just wear a skirt or a shorter dress. Also, I think I'd find a way to end up tripping over a maxi dress.

I haven't put it in my car yet, but just like you said- it went into my Macbook fine. When I first opened it I was a little confused that I got both, but hey, I'm not complaining...

I know that none of the Journeys here sells them, they're really riding the wave of exclusivity. Good luck though, shipping is a pain in the ass to deal with so I hope you find them! If it comes to ordering them online, I got my pair a half-size smaller than I usually wear and they stretched after being worn a few times.
