I added a Fowler last night and he has a game today, but he doesn't show up on my roster until tomorrow. It's like there is a one day grace period before you can actually use a player. I'm used to being able to pick up a player and use him that day provided the first game of the day hasn't started. In your case, the player you just picked up could be started today (provided he has a game today) because the start of the first game isn't for another 2 hours.

So I come to find out that one of my auto-drafted defensive players was a healthy scratch for the last game and will be for the upcoming game, so I added a player that is playing tomorrow to fill the gap. For some reason he doesn't show up on my roster for tomorrow. I understand that you don't want people adding and dropping players each day to run up the totals in the scoring categories (as evidenced by the 4 transactions per week limit) but now I picked up some dude that I can't even play tomorrow. Did I just waste one of my 4 transactions on a player that I can't use tomorrow (which essentially renders a third of his week useless)?

Do we set our lineup once a week, or do we make daily changes?

I think you mean check.
I don't think it could be a bad trade for you, barring Nicks breaking his leg walking to the stadium. And you turned a player you got from waivers into my fifth round pick.

It looks like you need Nicks for this week Rusty, so make sure to change your lineup after the trade goes through. You should have your dude Saturday night, provided none of you fuckers veto it.

I can ask my father-in-law. He's played in just about every other fantasy league that we have put together. He was also one of the folks that passed you in the last day of fantasy baseball. It was an epic battle for third place. I'm not sure anyone informed you or badchoices though.

I didn't realize hockey stared tonight. I created a league with the same settings as last year if anyone is interested. The draft is 8:00 ET (2 hours). It's a public league, so I'm expecting it to fill up in the next hour or so. Go to the following website: games.espn.go.com/fhl/leaguedirectory and search for the league using the league name. League Name: League Name EDIT: I'll still play in a league with you guys, but I just wanted to get one started.

I'll play. I thought rotisserie worked out pretty well last year. Also, according to ESPN, rotisserie is the most common way to play fantasy hockey.

I invited my father-in-law who played last year. He's the 10th team. We either need two more teams or need to cap the league at 10.

Amazing!!! Is that your wifey Gibbons? No. We had the same photographer for our wedding though. The only real difference was that the rainbows were flowing out of my vagina instead.

Just started watching UTOPIA. The first episode was incredible. Anyone else into this show? Going to start another episode right now... hope it is as good as it seems. This got buried in a bunch of American Horror Story talk, but I'd like to give Darth a +1 for the recommendation. It seems like they only used around 3 songs in the entire season, but somehow those songs always seemed to work. EDIT: How the fuck do you add a video? EDIT EDIT: I think I Dr. Garbanzoured it out. EDIT EDIT EDIT: What the fuck happened to this forum? I'm fairly certain I couldn't Dr. Garbanzoure out how to add a picture to a post. So essentially, I'm worthless. EDIT EDIT EDIT EDIT: Who the fuck hangs a basketball hoop 6 feet high? EDIT EDIT EDIT EDIT EDIT: Short people, that's who. EDIT EDIT EDIT EDIT EDIT EDIT: I suppose it's probably 2 meters. Fucking metric system. EDIT EDIT EDIT EDIT EDIT EDIT EDIT: Drunk.

If you were close enough to hear the music, their show was actually pretty fun in my opinion. They had some really good basslines and some pretty funky songs, I enjoyed them quite a bit. Screw the haters. If you judge them based on their whimsical stage show like so many people I heard, then you're doing it wrong! The problem was that you could hardly hear ANYTHING from the back. I wasn't that far from the stage, and it was still super quiet. It was hard to hear them because their mics weren't turned on.

I buy one extra ticket to every show I go to in Anchorage for my buddy who seems to never have money when tickets go on sale. Tickets range from $20 to $45 in $5 increments with a $2.50 ticketing fee.
We go to about one show a month. If I rounded up the ticket price for every ticket I sell him then I would end up making around $30 a year (which is essentially the cost of an extra show). That's not what friends do.
If he can't go and I decide to sell my ticket to another friend, then he would also get the same price. That's what friends do.
If I by chance had an extra ticket to a show that someone on the board wanted to go to then I would extend the same courtesy, since I consider most of you friends.
If I decided I wanted to make $30 profit then I would go to a TICKET PURCHASING WEBSITE to post an ad. The Sasquatch board is not a ticket purchasing website. It is a group of friends that choose not to fuck each other over.
