I'm judging the interest for a Sasquatch board Fantasy Football League. I could throw this in the Fantasy Baseball thread, but a lot of football fans hate baseball, and the Baseball thread is more utilized than most threads here. Also, since the football and baseball seasons overlap, having a combined thread would be like combining a Radiohead and Lady Gaga thread.
Post your interest in playing here. If we have enough interested folks, I'll create a league. If not, I'll probably delete this thread.
And please don't mention the possibility the NFL doesn't exist this season. I've said since day one, there is no humanly possible way the NFL doesn't exist this year, so it is stupid even talking about it. There is too much money involved, and their posturing is only creating more excitement for the season, and they know this.

I'm tenatively interested but I'm probably not willing to put in all the work required of a normal fantasy football league. I did one with some friends last year where you just had to pick the winners and not individual players which was a lot of fun though

I did one with some friends last year where you just had to pick the winners and not individual players which was a lot of fun though Fantasy Football is not much work at all. You just check your team once a week, see if any of your players have an injury notification next to their name or a bye, then swith that player with a bench player. If you pay a lot of attention to the NFL, you are more than likely to do better, but if you end up with a decent draft and relatively few injuries, you can finish easily near the top. It's nothing like the time some people put into Fantasy Baseball, where Stamper has 43 Adds/Drops?

I'm so down. May I suggest using ESPN FF? I find it to be the best product (and I have previously used Yahoo, CBS, and NFL leagues before).

admittedly, i have had to put a lot of time into my roster - as ive had to deal with the underperforming/injuries of key guys who really should have had great seasons: Carl Crawford, Jason Heyward, Ryan Zimmerman & Josh Johnson to name a few. injuries are a part of the game, for sure --- but the injuries i've sustained have kinda shot my team in the foot.
The only guys on my roster who have exceeded my expectations this season have been Craig Kimbrel and Michael Morse
still, the optimistic delusional side in me still thinks that i have a chance to finish in the top 3

Which site are you planning to use Know? We had an earlier vote for ESPN. I've used Yahoo for the last five or six years, so I'm used to that. Anyone other than the earlier vote have a preference? And Stamper, you know I was being ironic earlier when I called you out for making so many moves in fantasy baseball. At the time I posted it, we had the same number of moves.

I'm familiar with NFL.com and yahoo. I'm sure ESPN is no different.

Is the plan to do a live draft or pre-ordered lists for all?
