Just picked up another pair of solar string lights for Sasquatch. These ones are strands of white stars with 30 bulbs each. I spent a bit more on them because of the stellar reviews, and also because I wanted to make sure they arrive in time. I love solar lights! Here's a link to what I bought: www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003BE6C5OI totally want some of those.

Note that she is looking for a ride into the festival on Monday, kenhill. Yeah, I missed that. I won't be coming back to Seattle to pick someone up for Monday.

We have a RV and will be making an asortment of foods , we are assigned a certain meal a day to prepare, so stop by and eat hearty, we love good company and always have plenty of food to spare Ther's the spirit. I almost always fix a little extra and share. Nothing like good food to break the ice with your neighbors.

that works for me, we are 6 people. I think I know where the group showers are. Just tell me you are travelling with a bunch of dudes. Wow, I'm surprised I didn't get laughed off the board for that gaff. I meant to say, "Just don't tell me you are travelling with a bunch of dudes. I will be travelling with a bunch of ladies and I do have lots of water. I don't want any of us to stink. And if any other need to use the shower I will be more than willing to share.

We have an RV with a spacious shower we would have no problem letting our neighbors use ours. Hopefully you have an outdoor shower, otherwise it would be hard on your interior.

No, but I have a big trailer with a Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation logo. Also, I should have internet connection there as well. I'm sure we can get together. Also i drive a big green Ford pickup.

I build my own enclosure on the side of my trailer. That way the people around me can use it. If you dig a small hole the water gets sucked up by the earth really quickly. I have over 200 gallons of water available and I haven't flooded my neighbors out.

While back on topic, does anyone want me to bring any canadiana treats? (ie: ketchup chips, dill pickle chips, Alan Thicke) I will put my order in for Hamburger relish. The first time we saw it was in Vancouver. Much more tomato base than our hot dog relish.

inthecolumbiagorge, where are you camping (premier or...?) Just regular camping for us. Hope the crowd is not wilder than Coachella:-) I will bring my trusty battery operated sound machine to help me catch some sleep. I had a guy from Austin camping by me last year. He bought a tent and sleeping bag for Sasquatch. At the end I told him I would take it and bring it back this year, so it will be there for anyone that needs it can have it. I usually will bring a few of my things as extra as well. It looks like we think a lot alike, ITCG.

I deserve as much room as people in an RV. RVers can help you with a lot of stuff, like water, outdoor showers, and battery chargers. Be nice to them and you would be surprised at how much better they can make your expereince.

I'm not saying you are one, Shax, but people who make fun of people in their thirties, forties and fifties for coming out to live shows are absolute shit. I see this all the fucking time, BroDudes and DudeBros being loud and condescending to middle aged people dancin' on the grass or smokin' a joint at a show. It makes me angry to the point that the only two things stopping me from beating the shit out of them are the awareness that that is exactly what they want to have happen and the fact that I am either physically or psychologically incapable of throwing a punch. Yes...my daughters really get ticked off when people act as though I should not be at a musical event:-) I also have a medical condition called Alopecia that makes me for the most part bald...lucky me....except for a pure white mohawk that I ROCK:-) Lots of people stare though and murmur and silly little girls in the crowd point and laugh sometimes and my oldest daughter (who just happens to be gorgeous and 6'2") gets really agro about it all. Guys for the most part are cool after they meet me and I get a lot of "great mohawk" comments and that sort of thing from younger men but if they make fun of me they do it behind my back. I don't care in the slightest however because I absolutely guarantee I will be having more fun than most and I do not need ANYONES approval to enjoy music which by the way certainly is not just for the young:-))) I will definately have a beer with your name on it at my campsite. As a parent of 2 boys they hated it when I would hang around their music and stuff. My youngest wanted to make sure i was there to take him to Sasquatch but once there he really didn't want to see me much, lol.

When we did it we took their tent and set it up and when they came they unloaded their stuff and just parked the car in a little spot we found. That's what I plan on doing this year.
