I think Atlanta and Houston are the teams to beat this year. Solid teams on both sides of the ball. Arizona is a fluke and there is no way they should be 4-0.

Actually that's not fair. Their defense has been on fire. But I think Kolb will bring that team down.

I think Atlanta and Houston are the teams to beat this year... As an Atlanta fan, I totally want to agree with you. But as any Atlanta fan (regardless of the sport) will tell you, we never win shit. While we're loving how things are going right now, we're also kinda just waiting around until our hearts get ripped out.

I love how everyone thinks the Texans are going to win tonight's game by 40. This is one reason I quit betting on the NFL many years ago. It's way too hard to predict. This seems like a slam dunk, right? I'm not buying.
PS: Someone quote this before I delete it when the Texans are up 21-0 in the first quarter.

"Any given Sunday" is probably the most true cliche out there. I still bet on football from time to time, but I never touch "gimmie" games. That said the Jets are fucking terribad and moreso with Revis and Holmes out. If the Niner's offense can blow out the Jets at home, the Texans shouldn't have much of a problem either.

Jets covered. Maybe I should bet more on the NFL.

Jets covered. Maybe I should bet more on the NFL. As long as you're not planning to bet on fantasy cause I crushed you there

Why don't non-caucasians get white tattoos?

If that's a serious question, then the answer is because white ink is pretty terrible to work with in general, and should only really be used for minor highlights.

Brutal day for the Shaxmeister today. Gonna lose both of my fantasy games, one of which I was undefeated (fuck you Jordy Nelson) . Couldn't pick a game to save my life. Niners lost. BAH!

I have seen some atrocious officiating the last couple weeks. Why is no one talking about this? Everyone is so happy to have the regulars back, they don't even care how much they suck. I believe I wrote several paragraphs about this a month ago.
BRING BACK THE REPLACEMENTS!!!!

Yeah, this weekend was unacceptable. I thought the 49ers Rams game was going to be impossible to top but apparently tonight's refs took that as a challenge

Bahahaha! Right after I finished yelling at the TV for the clock mismanagement in the 49er game, I thought to myself "fuck..... Wonk is gonna lick his chops over this one."

What happened last night? I missed the game and a lot of people are talking about it.

I only caught bits and pieces of the game. I saw a few bullshit holding calls and it sounded like there may have been an instance of the dreaded "tuck rule". Outside of that I didn't see much. It was pretty boring until the end of the game.

There were a lot of questionable calls, all of them against the Chiefs. The announcer summed if up at one point with "that call...that was a bad call...I don't agree with that call at all..." in the most depressed voice. The drive that put the Steelers ahead with a few minutes left in regulation (the chiefs were able to tie it afterwards) was kept alive by at least 4 questionable calls.

Although not technically a bad call, the worst call of the night was the team celebration penalty on a TD that didn't count. I don't understand how you can be penalized for celebrating a TD that wasn't a TD. Really sick and tired of the celebration penalty. It's a game for crying out loud. Let the grown men play!
The NFL is a total circus! I find it humorous that there is no longer emphasis on discussing the awful job of the zebras. In retrospect the replacement refs weren't that bad.
