I'm with know on this one. Massive Attack for sure. On another note, the foo fighters were absolutely great last night. I can't think of anyone that epitomizes the term "rock star" like Dave Grohl. He was born for this and you can tell he loves every second of it. Thanks to his runway we got a chance to touch him. They covered a pinkfloyd tune and a Tom Petty tune and played close to 3 hours. It was also significantly louder than portishead or any other show I've seen in recent memory. Really fucking loud. Sounds like a good time. I'm seeing them tomorrow night and am pretty excited. I've only seen them in a festival setting before, so being that this is their show I have pretty high expectations, and based on current reviews and setlists I don't think I'll be disappointed.

Ya the stage setup is exactly as you described. The main part of the stage lights up, and there's a big runway down the centre of the pit to another stage in the middle of the arena.
Fun times with WoW hackers.
Loud Tuesday.

If I miss this show because some fucking nerd is out there getting his jollies by banging troll girls on the internet I'm going to fucking rage. Nah, they're probably a level 47 Warlock at this point. Why go for girls when you can go for XP. Duh?

So if anybody knows anybody who is selling FF tickets in Edmonton, point them in my direction. I've got homemade cider, pickled carrots/cauliflower/asparagus, and a $50 prepaid mastercard to trade for them.

FriendlyD, I have no idea what you just said. Maybe this will clear up any confusion: Warlocks are masters of the dark arts, devoted to furthering their understanding and use of shadow and Fire based magics, along with the summoning of demons from within the Twisting Nether. They first appeared on Azeroth during the First War, when Gul'dan, the first of their kind among the invading orc clans of Draenor, led the Horde across the dimensional gulf through the Dark Portal while in servitude to the Burning Legion. Warlocks are used as damage dealers, but can store the target´s soul to resurrect or heal himself by draining enemy's life. The warlock can summon an Imp without a Soul Shard. However, other demons require a soul shard or other reagents to be summoned. Since patch 4.0.1, a reagent is no longer required for this. Warlocks can instantly summon minion with the newly added spell: Soulburn.

103.7 The Mountain's Winter Warmth lineup is not too shabby. Florence + The Machine and Head and the Heart. Not sure who Matt Kearney is though.

Went and saw Foo Fighters last and HOLY SHIT!!! What an unreal show. They played for a full three hours, had a modest (yet effective) light show, and the energy level never let up from the opening notes. Dave Grohl is one cool motherfucker and you can tell that he is living the dream he had as a kid and loves what he does.
The highlight was their fist pumping cover of Pink Floyd's "In the Flesh", complete with Floyd style green lasers. If you are in the Edmonton area tonight I recommend that you do not miss this show.

I gotta know, was it "In the Flesh?" or "In the Flesh" that they did?
Either way that is an awesome song for any band to cover, but I bet the Foos are better suited to it than most bands.
