I drove up to Seattle and grabbed those Black Keys tickets. They're going to be playing on a stage in the campground in front of a bus. |

Soo the Deck The Hall Ball lineup so far has to be the most typical undeserving-ly popular indie bands I've seen so far...with Foster The People, Two Door Cinema Club, Cage The Elephant and Young The Giant so far. And of course they reveal Mumford and Sons to be the headliners today. That entire lineup sounds like HG's own personal hell. |

That entire lineup sounds like HG's own personal hell. I was just thinking the same thing. I think that being forced to sit through even half of those shows might finally be the thing in my life that causes me to turn violent. |

Mumford put on one of the best performances of Coachella. They cool in my book.
I'm guessing the Joy Formidable and The Naked and Famous or something along those lines.

So I'm waiting for Portishead (alone) and having a typical concert-going experience for me. The theater is filling in but nobody wants to stand behind me. Everyone is left and right rear of me, but nobody behind me.
If you've met me, this might be funny.
Anyway totally jacked for this show and review to follow.

I absolutely love the Greek Theater. That has to be the best outdoor venue in the entire state of California. Next to the Warfield, which I love for sentimental reasons, there isn't really anywhere else on the whole west coast that I'd rather see a show.
