I8 ain't gonna be too happy that camping is included in the ticket...
This was the year I thought I might try the wildhorse campground...I guess we'll see about that...maybe VIP instead?

With everything included, that's a great price until you realize that LiveNation has figured out a way to charge each individual person for camping.

So much for their "Save the environment; Carpool!" campaign from last year.
Profit rules all!!!
I hope they have alotted more space this year for camping, since everybody pays individually for tickets, there's not as much worry about stuffing as many people as possible into one car.

That really is not bad, but I have a question. Does everyone going need their own camping pass? I thought it was like one camping pass per group.

That appears to have changed.

$285-295 without a lineup even announced??? That is absurd considering last year we paid what like $185 or something

But last year a 4th day and camping wasn't part of it.

You paid $185 for one less day + let's say $25 each for camping if you had a car of 4.... that's $70/day
This year is 4 days and let's take the average which is $290... that's $72.50/day.

True, the math holds up. And I don't even care about everyone in the party paying for camping because that is how it works at most festivals.
But we paid $185 knowing the full lineup, not just one band. That's a pretty big deal to a lot of people, especially people not from the Pacific Northwest.

Haha, the post was in response to parenthesees actually. Personally, an extra $2.50/day is much better then I expected.
Early birds went on sale last year with only Pavement announced.

Didn't we also pay $185 when we only new Pavement was playing, too though?
