Anyone wanna start making rumors? This is partially taken from the Adam Zacks "who I want to see" list on the tumblr questionnaire he just put up:
Headliners - Portishead, Beck, Sublime Other - Elbow, Sleigh Bells, Deerhunter, Belle and Sebastian, Flying Lotus, Morning Benders (they were at '08, but I guess he didn't see them), Elysian Fields, Suckers, Ted Leo and the Pharmacists, Toro Y Moi (finally), Warpaint, Holy Fuck, Antlers, High on Fire (?!!?), Here We Go Magic, The Roots... probably should stop there cuz there'll be spots for bands who "come out" later this year (xx, tune-yards, etc)
I picked sort of conservative headliners because that's the trend, but Rush, Bruce Springsteen, and Al Green are all on the list too.

Is this part of that "Adam Zacks' blog" joke or a real thing somewhere else? can you link to the questionnaire? regardless... Portishead is headliner material? doubt it, especially over Belle and Sebastian, who would be amazing. And Sublime, really? yikes. anyways im pretty sure this isn't real, so I wont worry about it

maybe it's me but the idea of sublime as a headliner seems pretty ridiculous

The ghost of Bradley Nowell can come too. That will be the big 10th anniversary treat.

Sublime without Bradley Nowell isn't even close to headliner material, they're just a shell of the original band that are out to make money off the Sublime name. they'd also bring out one of the biggest frat boy crowds in Sasquatch history, so fuck that. they went the right direction with the headliners this year, there seemed to be a significant drop in the amount of bros in attendance from last year. Beck as a headliner is something I could get behind though. maybe a Beck / Flaming Lips co-headliner thing going on Sunday night. I'd probably lose my shit if they announced something like that.

Beck would be an awesome headliner. He's one of my favorite performers. He'd be perfect at the Gorge!

Yes please for Portishead! They only played ONE North American show in 2008 - at Coachella, where they were set to headline . . . until Prince magically stole their spot. Anyway, I would be happy with a sub-headlining sunset slot for Portishead.

with their new album coming out in august, and with all of the pressure from sasquatch patrons, i guarantee arcade fire will be there.
keep in mind that sasquatch 2011 is the 10 year anniversary. hopefully we can expect a totally over the top lineup??

Sublime? Get real.
The Black Keys have to be there. It blows my mind every year they aren't there.
I'm going to second The Roots.
Stars.

stars is a superb call. pretty much anyone who comes out with a new album between now and next may has a 99.999999999% chance of ending up on the bill.

Beck and Wayne Coyne hated each other. Anyone who saw the "Beckon the Paining Exists" (Beck & the Flaming Lips) tour knows that as cool as that might sound, it blows pretty hard.

Hey guys, thanks for asking but I assure you the Zacks questionnaire is completely legitimate. Here's a video he just tumbled where he mentions most of these bands as "wishlisters" in an interview with Seattle Sound - there's some host babble at the start so I just cut to the chase: www.youtube.com/watch?v=3BYbmckk9mU#t=00m46s

Oh, right. I see. I get it. You were lampooning me. It was a simple lampoon.

Just because of the new weather proof stage, the ten year anniversary, and Adam Zacks telling Travis Hay a couple years ago that Radiohead is probably his most wanted draw, I think their chances go from 0.02% previous years to maybe 2% next year.

I can completely get behind this post also arcade fire seems like the safest bet by far. I'm hearing soundgarden is asking 1 million for shows right now but if the reunion kind of fizzles maybe they will be there next year (don't count on it)

Am I the only one who thinks Arcade Fire is really just thirty-five clones of Conor Oberst who dress like Napoleon Dynamite? I just can't stand that Oh I'm So Emotional, Oh You're So Emotional, Oh We're So Emotional, LET'S ALL PUMP OUR FISTS bullshit.
