Maybe I'm confused, but I was trying to figure out the same thing last year. Is there any way to BUY these posters? I think I only saw a few of them (if any) at any of the merch booths. Or do the posters not really get sold?
Please enlighten me.

Google the artist's name, hopefully it is a somewhat unique name, otherwise you might have to google their name and the word art and do some searching through the results. You should be able to get an email address of the artist. I ordered last year's Japandroids poster this way, for $25. I plan on buying several more. And like Dildon states above, I agree, Japandroids wins best poster two years in a row.

No problem. Some of the artists have website you can order their posters from (Invisible Creature for example). I ordered the Simian Mobile Disco poster online from DKNG. When I entered DKNG into google, the first thing that came up was DKNG Studios.

So stoked now the posters are out. If anyone else goes to Bumbershoot as well, they have a poster exhibition every year called Flatstock that has many of the artists that make Sasquatch posters there, so I have seen a large number of there for sale there (as well as a tonne of other sick posters).

you could also just print them off for free on photo paper, to save a buck.

That's not fair to the artist though. That would be like if you could download an album on-line instead of purchasing it at a store.

Love the posters. I will have to buy a couple. Good thread, I otherwise probably would not have known they were out there.
BTW, I got through the TMBG maze. Hooray for me.

With posters anyway, I need the physical object straight from the artist. Feels more authentic. (Then again that's the same reason I like to buy records/CD's whenever I can because I like the romantic idea of having a palpable art object in my hands. Again, feels more authentic.)

And, in case this information is useful to anyone (may someone having to email this themselves), but I emailed Jay Ryan, artist of the Pavement poster about whether the posters would be sold and I got a really quick response saying the following:
"hi brett -
the band will have copies, though i don't know if they'll be selling them at the festival or not. my copies (all 40 of them) will be on my site at some point during the days after the festival.
stay warm -
jay"
