Dude that is great. I saw people talking about the shaming on twitter and it made me sick. Thanks for posting that.

So, it's a rainy Saturday afternoon in Portland, and after reading through Fig's resurrected review of This is a long Drive by Modest Mouse, I decided to give it a listen while I baked up some chocolate chip cookies. No one else is home, so I was able to turn it up while I threw together the flour, eggs, sugar, and most important, some semi sweet chocolate morsels. Having never baked said cookies, I just followed the recipe on the back of the package. While Mr. Brooks sang, i conjured up a sticky mass of dough that was quite unlike any previous concoction I had ever created. I tried to keep up with which song was playing, but I kept leaving cookie dough residue on my player, so I eventually just listened without worrying about what song I was on. I waited expectantly for the first batch to come out of the oven, and soon, the timer went off. I reached in and removed a sheet of the weirdest looking lumps of brown stuff I had ever seen. They looked nothing like the perfect circles that mutt wife bakes. Where did I go wrong? The music continued, and I thought maybe I had missed an ingredient as I grooved to the good tunes. The remaining batches were already in the oven, so it was too late to fix things. As soon as the first batch cooled enough to eat, it was time to taste my creation. I picked one off the rack, still warm from the oven. Expecting the worse, I bit into the misshapen lump, and as Isaac crooned in the background, the cookie crunched slightly, and then the warm gooey center melted onto my tongue. Ahh, it tasted like chocalate goodness wrapped in a rich shell of cookie heaven. The moral of this story is, never let a weird look keep you from biting in, you will be missing out on some gooey goodness.

Just finished season 2 of House Of Cards in a day, the fact that there's still another season makes me smile.

The looks I get when I wear my old Isis shirt these days. It used to be just another band tee, but now people get the waaaay wrong idea. I think it's hilarious, but I'm also a kind of afraid it might get me shot in this little redneck town one of these days.

Just realized this year is the 10 year anniversary of my first sasquatch. 2005 was a good year for me

Actually 2014 would have been your 10th anniversary Oops! Ha! I don't math good. Whatever, I'm still celebrating. Actually, my initial post was true. It isn't my 10th sasquatch. It has just been 10 years since the first I attended. This will in fact be my 7th altogether.

Edit: upon further review, a shipping label was just created; it didn't actually ship yet. But still, shit's about to get rilly rill.

One of the recreational weed shops in Bellingham is celebrating by having $4 pre-rolled joints and $4 chocolate bars (1 each per customer for the first 100 customers). Also having a bunch of vendors (growers and such) and music. It is called 2020 solutions and will be going on from 3-6. They are pretty close to Kulshan Brewing so I think an afternoon stroll may be in order.
