Yeah, I've definitely made sure they let me know from now on. That doesn't happen that often though, it's mostly because Band of Horses is from here (Charleston).

Hell no, man, they're from Seattle. They relocated to Charleston... stabbing Seattle in the back.
OH YEAH! Indeed. Let me rephrase that. They are HEADQUARTERED here now.
And on behalf of Charleston, we apologize. Though I can't apologize too much. That's Charleston getting their only really good band (shit load of jam bands here. now you see why i have to get up to the northwest) from one of the richest music cities. Band of Horses moved Robin Hood style.

Hahaha that's an awesome way to characterize it.
I remember being really bitter when they left, but oh well. It seems like a fitting move. It'll be interesting to see if any NC influence makes its way into the new album...
Sorry to slightly stray from topic, but does anyone have a CLUE when Band of Horses plans on releasing the new album? It would be fantastic to be familiar with some new tunes before the festival.

No idea when the move took place. As for the new album... Ben's referred to is as "Night Rainbows" I guess, but who knows when it'll be out. They've been playing new songs from it for a long time now.
btw, are either of you guys a fan of Mat Brooke's (former Band of Horses guitarist) newest band Grand Archives? absolutely worth a listen if you haven't heard them yet.
