Great bands, but the 'headliners' feel like sub-headliners at other festivals..

Not at all impressed with the upper half of the lineup. They have some good bands but after the rumors it's a bit of a let down

Have to agree, really had my hopes up for arcade fire but I am very pleased with broken social scene, it just seems like something's missing.....at least in my opinion. I'm never much for the headliners anyways so I don't mind, I was just hoping for some new bands that I didn't already catch in '08. But I do know that if I end up going, I'm going to have an amazing time with wonderful people and at least there won't be that many conflicts!

Agreed that the lack of Arcade Fire and Phoenix are a bit disappointing, but I'm sure everyone will be able to catch Arcade Fire later in the year anyways

It makes me happy that, with me being on the "for the lineup side", upon daring to glance at this thread that everyone actually finds the lineup great except for just a few things.

WHY THE FUCK WOULD YOU BOOK WEEN!?!? HOW DO THEY EVEN STILL GET SHOWS!! Ween has an awesome live show. Saw the Pixies, Frank Black and Ween within a 3 month span and Ween had the best show by far. I'm happy that they are playing.

This is my third year to go and I'm very disappointed in the head liners if you can even call them that. Oh well I'm sure if I drink ehough they will appear to be really great, or I won't feel as bad for spending all that money to see them:)

Thats what I did last year and had a great time.

when i first looked at the lineup i was scanning through it to see headliners, and passed right by MMJ and massive attack. didn't really think they were close to headliner material after some of the bands in the past couple years. when i realized those were the headliners, i was pretty disappointed. sad that we're not getting phoenix, dead weather, faith no more or beirut. who knows though, they could still add real headliners before its all in stone. at least the rest of the lineup other than the top three are pretty great.

UGH.... MGMT? Really.... Can anyone prove to me this is not the Jonas brothers in disguise? I was really disappointed with the lineup. I have been to Sasquatch every year, maybe once they show who is playing which days we can make it to one day of shows. Not worth it when the beer and food prices are so ridiculous. I am very glad I didn't purchase the pre-lineup tickets. Summer Meltdown here I come...

A handful of disappointments on this bill but this lineup definitely destroys Coachella and Bonnaroo this year, no questions.

To me, this line-up is precisely what I envisioned a Sasquatch Festival line-up to look like. And in doing so, it exceeded my expectations. I believe they spent their money the right way; going for substance, not flash. They skipped on the major players like Jay-z, Soundgarden, etc...and saved bigtime dollars doing so - which they used to make a solid overall lineup. So yes, it focuses mainly on indie rock, but if you were expecting something else, well there's always Bumbershoot.

UGH.... MGMT? Really.... Can anyone prove to me this is not the Jonas brothers in disguise? There are three Jonas Brothers and only two guys in MGMT.
